It does. In fact, transfer of consciousness simply means transfer of everything( abilities) that makes one unique from others.

In flash, the "abilities" were kinda fiction eg mind reading, elastic body etc. But in real life scenario, this abilities could range from cognitive to athletic prowess & as it's what makes one unique from another, it can be transferred because it's is kinda part of ones consciousness. See the movie "CRIMINAL" for better understanding.

NB: This is just a theory by me based on the available fact's I collated on the subject matter, thus, it's subject to constructive criticism.

Iris, after joe, fought crime before any other person in that team. The writer is still on point with this character.

I even hate Barry more than I dislike iris .. imagine when he was telling Ralph not to kill Devoe with the iron metal thingy but at the final episode they ended up killing Devoe.. the writers are just the worst , I think CW shows are generally garbage of late..

Now, this, I agree with. The writer erred big time there. That was over fictional and irritating. Even jesus couldn't be that altruistic. Heck, that wasn't altruism. It was plain stupidity. How will you say you won't kill someone who has killed a lot and will kill you and the entire world unless you kill him first?

Imagine saying you won't take out a terrorist who's taken a lot of lives and will bring about doomsday unless he's stopped, and the only one who can is you.

However, they didn't kill devoe. Devoe killed himself from the start when he first transfered his consciousness and framed barry with his corpse. Ralph only just took back his body.

I don't really care about the storyline though. Maybe that's why I'm not as discontented as you guys.

For me, season1 stood out. Season2 was wack. The worst, probably. Bringing in dementors especially pissed me off. I don't know what you guys are talking about. After season1, I'll pick season 3.


The episodes in this season 4 were just too complicated and conflicting with eachother.
The concept of the thinker itself was great. Limitless thoughts, you know? Due to the neurons firing at an incredible rate. On the contrary, the idea of devoe jumping from one body to another while still retaining his abilities and obtaining his host's is over fictional. When he moved from his body ( therefore dumping his brain) into dominic lance's body, he should have lost his intellectual abilities.
This season was ruined from that very moment. How can someone keep the abilities of some other persons after dumping their bodies. He should have been able to use each metas abilities only while in possession of their bodies. Transfer of consciousness doesn't include the transfer of abilities, does it? As the season progressed, I thought they would give a good explanation on this. As in, "enlighten us". But they didn't. They seemed more occupied with the setup for the next season.


Devoe was more villainous on that chair malice built. They probably should have left it at that. I was particularly underwhelmed by the finale. Smh.

All in all, I still love this show.

Iris is given more significance than she deserves..

my worst part of these superhero shows is when they're determined not to kill the villains regardless of any circumstances. Even when they know someone like devoe who had killed over 100 people so far and is planning to kill more they come up with stupid reasons to try and "save" the villains from themselves.
And when their hesitance to kill the villain leads to death of more innocent people they hardly mind that as they continue to look for non lethal ways of solving the problem.
Total bullshit. it's one of the reasons i'm slowly giving up on this genre of TV.

That of zoom was also a disappointment to me.
Barry learnt how to defeat zoom from zoom. If zoom had not taught him time remnant he wouldnt have defeated him....
He actually won the race, but he had to go call Time Wraith to finish zoom off... This was someone he had on the floor bleeding....
I need not to talk about how iris shot a speeding speedster with a gun and he fell down and died..... Lolzzzz

The funny thing is that Iris killed someone and Barry doesn't even think anything bad about it. This is the same Barry that had an aversion to killing. He would even let more killing happen than kill and yet he is just OK that Iris killed someone and it's never brought up again
