Dino Melaye, Kogi West Senator on Wednesday insisted that men of the Nigeria Police Force, attempted to kill him twice. Melaye made the disclosure on the floor of the senate while announcing his intention to defect from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. The embattled lawmaker said police officers first used “chemical substance and the second time through injection.” According to the lawmaker, he would have died if not for the intervention of God.
