Gospel musician/dancer stabs himself to death in Delta

Residents of Oteri, Ughelli, Delta State were, yesterday, thrown into mourning, after a young gospel musician cum dancer repeatedly stabbed himself before eventually slitting his own throat. .

According to reports, the deceased, identified as Mukoro Ovie, didn’t allow anyone to get close to him. The more people tried to get close, the more he stabbed himself.

The police were later called to the scene but that did stop him. Ovie eventually slit his own throat while the police were attempting to overpower him. No one knows what triggered his action.

This is just too much.

From where I sit, I can tell you that this is not the work of "village people", and this is not ordinary either. Something possessed him, probably what he "invited" by himself. Cut yourself once, you wont try to cut yourself again because of the pain. The being that possessed him wanted him to die painfully and publicly, if not he would have followed easier means to die other than cutting himself. No matter what, try to live an upright life.

Poor thing. Depression is real. Endeavor to talk to someone, anyone at all. Or you write or go out even without friends, go to the movies enjoy yourself. Read books, watch TV. Stay safe
