Op go to ministry of women affairs or orphanage homes. They will tell you what to do. Make sure you adopt a boy child.
I am also looking that way.

Kudos to you for wanting to adopt a child. But why don't you volunteer at an orphage home first, if bonding with a child and rendering a service to humanity are what you're after?

I rarely have time for myself not to talk of having the time to volunteer at an orphanage home that's why I want to adopt.

Why do you want to adopt an infant baby girl as a single MAN? Especially with all the paedophilia happening in the Nigerian society and around the world?

I personally will not feel comfortable with the idea of a single man adopting an infant girl. Too many men out there are pedophiles. If Nigerian men have no problem sexually abusing their biological daughters, then how much more a child they are not biologically related to?

A child is not a dog. If you are looking to live and bond with something, get a puppy.

I don't think you are ready for the responsibilities that come with parenting. You have some more growing up to do. Focus on taking care of yourself for now.

Who will take care of the child when you go to work?

Do you really know what it means to care for a child and gave that child depend on you?

I'm assuming you are a guy. Are you willing to stay up with that child at night?
Can you be there for a child that's crying and can't express him or herself?

Lots of stuffs to consider before you decide to adopt a child.

Maybe you should go to parents that can't afford to care for their children and ask them allow you care for that child.

Or you can buy a dog if you need company.

ffs, why are you guys trying to equate a dog to a human being and for the records I am not a dog person or any other pet for that matter.
I already know the situation I am getting myself into when I adopt a child.

Anyways I have spoken with some number of people and their response has been positive. What's remaining is the legal aspects and some formalities, hopefully by month end, I will have my baby..

I just hope they don't turn me down.
