The cost of ECA report for Pharmacist is around #400k

Hi guys,

Came across the attached Express Entry budget on the web.

This should help anyone estimate how much the EE journey is likely to cost.

Obviously, some of the figures may change due to updates by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada or even the peculiarities of individual cases and probably third parties involved in the process. But at least, you have a rough idea of what you may incur.

Cheers.

I think they just wanted the applications completed separately for the sake of the fees while also acknowledging that we are married.
Ottawa won't take on my application without fresh fees, London won't transfer my fees to them either as they already mobilised manpower. I think it was just convenient for them although they know we are both going to Canada (and we will definitely accompany each other lol), just that we applied separately. The non-accompanying part is just for formality and to make the whole thing less complicated for whoever comes across our application in the future.....I think.

Okay. It's beautiful.

Please guys, how is job verification done by the embassy, do they visit the company, phone the company or rely on only the documents you submit.
I'm asking because I have job experience from a company which no longer exist. And also what is required in terms of documents to prove my job experience.

okay I'm very certain it's in their inbox, if we talking about email. look for someone in the main office, perhaps registry, to check. I went to registry and it was there for mine.

if it's still not there, send a mail to WES... but be verrrrry sure it hasn't arrived.

Wow, was there a map?

Map kee, no map, if there was map it would have been better. IELTS is losing its goal and vision, now it is a test of knowledge and tricks not competency in English. I call it Test of Tricks

Bro, why the rush? Your crs score of 436 isn't so far from the present cutoff or do you want to rush to Canada then wait for another 1 year before your family joins you?

I bet that after getting your PPR, you'll still wait for months before you depart for Canada so why don't you give your wify more time to prepare and do well in ielts?

Just imagine you lie that you are single, get ITA with your crs score of 445 and boom, the cutoff gets to 436 in the next few weeks?

And lastly, patience is one of admirable qualities of Canadians. Just saying ni o
You don't get it, bros. Do u? He isn't lying by saying he is going unaccompanied. His application will be assessed as if he is single and other conditions fulfilled. The thing is while he gets ITA in the next draw with 445, his family stays back in Nigeria for some two years before joining him. I can do that.. Folks between 439 to 436 no be here!

Honestly, I thought listening was my strongest point but the section's 2 and 3 disorganised me. I almost gave up sef, resigned to retaking but I went back and tried to put the answers together.

Yeah, Section 2 - makeover and Section 3 - research(this was better).

If it was University exam I will have been encouraged by the general consensus that it was tricky. However, this one is individualistic (e le ru gbe ru ee).

You can use MOD it's cheaper but with my experience at the Cayley College centre yesterday, I wish I paid the difference to BC. Imagine getting to a center by 8 (late, should have been 7:30) and we didn't start till past 11 am.

tholuwalorpe:
Please house, I need your opinion. I want to retake the test. Should I register with BC or MOD?

I had mine with BC, we started past 11 a.m too, the worst part was the tricky listening part was last module we wrote.... that made the matter worst

Listening is my lowest point. That is to say if I had written yesterday test my 75k would have been washed down again. IELTS is really a hurdle.

Nevertheless, I am coming for it soon but not in a hurry sha

Yes, you can do that. He said he wants to be with his family in Canada.

BTW, the prospect of people with crs score between 436 to 439 is high. It's just gonna take a while.

Abi, make we bet on top your 6 months salary?

Hi Kasspy, you cannot apply as single when you’re married, that’s misrepresentation and will earn you a five year ban. My advise is spouse should sit for IELTS again since you really want to be with your family.

Applying with unaccompanying spouse will get you a CRS score like you’re single but you still have to provide POF, PCC and medicals for the entire family.

Hope this helps. Cheers

He can apply with unaccompanying spouse and sponsor her later(which will take about 1yr after he arrives Ca). It's legal and persons have done it. You are asked 'if' so you can fill Yes or No.
For a post I read, he said they asked him why she was not accompanying and he said it reduced their scores so they decided to go separate. He was issued.

Yes you can apply as unaccompanying spouse BUT be ready to stay without her for about 1yr.

Please people, for those that wrote IELTS General on 12th May 2018 with IDP in Nigeria, what is the test result release date written on your TRF. I need it because I want to complete my express entry profile while I am yet to receive my own TRF. I have seen my TRF number online
