That the robbers are linked to Saraki? - They claimed the car was given to them by Saraki through the COS to the Governor. The police need to validate the claim by ascertaining how the car was procured

That Saraki instructed them to rob/kill? - They clearly didn't allege this and the police aren't trying to establish it as a fact either

That they are on the payroll of Saraki/Fatah? - This shouldn't be hard to trace if the bank transfers were made directly from Saraki/Fatah's bank accounts

Above all, absolutely nothing that suggests he is being framed up. It's just standard procedure to establish facts from fiction
