OMANBALA1:abeg shift! Look at how you have been dragging Onazi everywhere on this thread, only to make excuses for Joel as if they were not dragging worst performer medal. No sane coach too will drop Onazi, forget that he is currently out of form. You cannot be making excuses for Blind Bat Joel, only to be insulting Fat Boy Onazi. Joel has been trash since March, but he is recovering from injury abi? If you like insult Onazi again, Joel is rubbish, thank God Ndidi is back, Joel can go and dust the bench. |

TheSuperNerd:That is the point we are trying to make. In the first half of Argentina and England, we played in a conservative manner and we were poor in our display. When Rohr opted for a more offensive set-up in the second half of both games, we were menacing. So that is why I am against us playing in a negative fashion. |

OMANBALA1:World Cup is won by teams with experienced players. Do you understand that? What the hell is Joel very good at? No dribbling skills, can't press, average positioning sense, not renowned for slick or long passes, not a solid marker, can't assert or impose himself in games. What makes him a valuable player? |

safarigirl:Chai.....see babe wey sabi and get better sense and oil for brain. He is talking as if Joel has ever been a fantastic player for Nigeria in any match. At least for Onazi there are fond memory we hope he can recreate. |

He came into the team based on the fact that he can play LB, he plays LB for this club too as far as i am aware. BTW, Idowu is also a right footed player and play mostly as CB for his club, yet he's done well playing as LB. what do you say about that? ChrisKels: |

Toylove:If sane was a Nigerian, he would automatically be the best outfield player in the Nigerian fold, so tell me you would be happy if Rohr dropped him for Musa since they play in the same wing. Be logical, no dey talk like pikin |

Martz101:Empty comparison. Who would you rather made the team ahead of Carrasco and Witsel in the Belgian team? Some times when u you guys come up with some lame facts to justify Rohr's action, you xpose how irrational you can be. |

Joebie:I'm prolly the only person here that agrees with you on this. Sentiments apart, our boys need to know that they were just a little better in the second half and that's because we scored. In fact, I feel it's the English that were the more disciplined side in the second half. All those talk of us being better might not help our guys learn from their mistakes and get better |

That wouldn't surprise me one bit because Onazi is definitely NOT the same player I knew pre and post 2014 World Cup. But either way, his football age is 26. We all have those in Nigeria. I had one myself, back in the day ... so been there, done that ![]() O pari elyte89: |

OMANBALA1:Yes, Onazi has been trash for so long and I think the situation used to be like we don't have a choice than just keeping him in the team. But from the look of things, it will be very easy easing Onazi out of the SE post Russia because we will have a choice by then (in fact better choices sef) due to the emergence of exciting talents... Am not in any discrediting his exploits for the team in the past, however, "I get am before no be property" |

Oasis007:So Aina should keep trying to be LB even when we know he's a right footer? shouldn't he fight for RB which is natural to him? we have potential LBS already and we saw them in CHAN and the At Madrid friendly. |
