bidexiii:Anti terrorist mobile bunkers for fighting terrorists in congested urban areas and inside buildings This is a concept which was realised after the Mumbai terrorist attacks where the fuccking terrorists fought from inside hotels and railway stations etc . Due to multiple rooms , the anti terrorist teams were slowed down since the terrorists could ambush them from any of the hotel rooms , this vehicle allows u to do the job quickly as it can resist fire arms and grenade while clearing rooms etc faster and provide safety and cover to the troops inside and outside it . I posted other similar vehicles here before |

Technical Talk.. F-35 _________ The F-35 do possess good maneuveability characteristics which had been abruptly ignored by many. Having an engine with largest thrust in it's category, The F-35 can supercruise at Mach 1.2 for 150 nautical miles. Now think for a moment what exactly is the role of F-35. It is called Joint Strike Fighter. As a Strike Fighter it is primarily designed to do those jobs which are air to ground. But during strike missions a fighter can expect itself to be intercepted as battlefield is full of surprises. So if an energy comes to intercept F-35 must be able to save itself. But having technologies like DAS which can not just detect but also alert the pilot surprises would be rare. Carrying weapons on other aircraft significantly worsens their performance through the drag of the weapon and pylon whilst the F-35 is affected only by the weight, this makes the F-35 superior in combat loadings. F-16s and regular Hornets also require fuel tanks and pods(ECM, Targeting etc) to reach the same range/capabilities as the F-35, all of which increase drag and reduces hard-points for munitions. F-35 has corner speed of 370 kts for 9 g instantaneous turn and M 0.8 for 4.95 g sustained turn, both values being at 15.000 ft. This gives it instantaneous turn rate of 26.6 deg/s and sustained turn rate of 10.8 deg/s, with roll rate of 300 deg/s. The climb rate is 259 m/sec. All these may not be best in class but are fairly enough to defend itself incase the situation arrives. But no one is able to see that F-35 is very survivable. F-35s high wing loading reduces gust sensitivity; when combined with internal weapons carriage, it significantly increases low-altitude speed achievable. It can also choose wether to fly low or high, as its low RCS will provide survivability advantage against X-band radars. The problem lies when we compare F-35 with those who are not even in it's class. Today we see a Russian Su-24 downed by Turkish F-16 or a Syrian Su-22 downed by US F-18 all these are close range combats. Where the one which got killed niether had any proper time nor proper capability to respond to a superior threat level. Criticisers disagree, they say that during close range fights F-35’s EW and stealth won't be a big issue as at close ranges usage of passive sensors like IRST guarantees detection and even stealth aircrafts are fairly visible at close ranges - True. But no one looks at what defensive capabilities the F-35 has got. A fighter designed mostly for transonic and subsonic flight regime would rarely heat up it's engine to be seen clearly by the seeker of an IR guided missile. As well as it must be understood that even though missile seeker technology has advanced over time to negate the effect of distracting flares, the new generation flares are more than a match to do the job. Plus F-35 may get a directional infrared counter measure as an upgrade which beams high power IR waves towards the seeker and makes it lose target, the beam fools the seeker by overloading which triggers the missile to explosion. Any current 4+ or 4++ generation fighter which falls in the category of F-35 won't stand any chance once he looses the opportunity to first shoot (if it has Meteor). The F-35’s EW capability also consists of creating false targets as well as deploying towed RF decoy which seduces the enemy's RF seeker into believing that it is a target. At close range or against targets using jammers the F-35 is capable of narrowband interleaved search and track(NBILST) against aircraft which provides precise range and velocity that can then be used by a missile without need of the APG-81, allowing 360 degree targeting of aircraft. It can detect and track the target with a very narrow beam, measuring as little as 2[degrees] by 2[degrees] in azimuth and elevation. The system also automatically increases revisit rates according to the threat posed by the targets. It does not track targets that are too far to be a threat. Here Interleaved search and track means that the waves received by the passive antennas are analysed by the onboard software by a set of algorithms which are set according to mathematical laws that repeatedly and correct a value to be guessed by a set of iterative calculations. ^ In simple words it neither matters weather you are out of the view of F-35 pilot, nor it matters weather F-35 will be able to point it's nose towards your back. At close ranges , if you are using your radar or your jammer you will be seeked, tracked and destroyed , no matter which direction you are. Your only chance is to be matchingly survivable and fiercely maneuverable.

Technical Talk.... F-35 engine __________ The LiftFan of the F-35B generates 89 kN of thrust which is more than the full afterburner thrust of the GE F404 engine onboard the LCA Tejas or the Gripen. ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ While developing the LiftSystem many engineering difficulties had to be overcome, and new technologies exploited. The LiftFan utilises hollow-bladed titanium blisks (a bladed disk or "blisk" achieved by super-plastic forming of the blades and linear friction welding to the blisk hub). Organic matrix composites are used for the interstage vanes. The LiftFan must safely function at flight speeds up to 250 knots (130 m/s) This condition appears as a crosswind to the horizontal intake and occurs when the aircraft transitions between forward flight and hover. The clutch mechanism uses dry plate carbon–carbon technology originally derived from aircraft brakes. Friction is only used to engage the lift fan at low engine speeds. A mechanical lock-up is engaged before increasing to full power. The gearbox has to be able to operate with interruptions to its oil supply of up to a minute while transferring full power through 90 degrees to the LiftFan. The Three-Bearing Swivel Module has to both support the final hot thrust vectoring nozzle and transmit its thrust loads back to the engine mounts. The "fueldraulic" actuators for the 3BSM use fuel pressurised to 3,500 lbf/in2, rather than hydraulic fluid, to reduce weight and complexity. One actuator travels with the swivel nozzle, moving through 95 degrees while subject to intense heat and vibration.

First picture of Chinese Stealth Unmanned Fighter Jet unveiled - Dark Sword China released images of a new, unmanned, stealth-fighter-style jet, and they present a shocking look into how close Beijing has come to unseating the US as the dominant military air power. An expert who examined the pictures said the drone, called the “Dark Sword,” could give China a big advantage in a fight with the US. The Dark Sword looks like an unmanned stealth fighter jet that could overwhelm the US with quantity and supersonic speed. The US thought about making a jet like this, but instead turned it into a tanker, and now it could be falling behind. China released images of a new, unmanned, stealth fighter-style jet, and they present a shocking look into how close Beijing has come to unseating the US as the dominant military air power. China has already built stealth fighter jets that give US military planners pause , but the images of its new unmanned plane, named the “Dark Sword,” suggest a whole new warfighting concept that could prove an absolute nightmare for the US. Justin Bronk, an air-combat expert at the Royal United Services Institute, said the Dark Sword “represents a very different design philosophy” than US unmanned combat jet plans. Bronk examined the photos available of the Dark Sword and concluded it appeared optimized for fast, supersonic flight as opposed to maximized stealth. “The Chinese have gone with something that has a longer body, so it’s stable in pitch. It’s got these vertical, F-22 style vertical stabilizers,” which suggest it’s “geared towards supersonic performance and fighter-style capability.” Though the US once led in designing drones, it was caught off guard by militarized off-the-shelf drones used in combat in the Middle East. Now, once again, the US appears caught off guard by China moving on the idea of an unmanned fighter jet — an idea the US had and abandoned. The US is now pushing to get a drone aboard aircraft carriers but downgraded that mission from a possible fighter to a simple aerial tanker with no requirement for stealth or survivability in what Bronk called a “strong vote from the US Navy that it doesn’t want to go down the combat” drone road. But a cliché saying in military circles rings true here: The enemy gets a vote.

What we're witnessing is a dawn of a new Era. The next logical step in Advanced Drone warfare. A complete unmanned stealth supersonic Drone capable of undertaken highly dangerous aerial missions such as deep interdiction, swarm ambush and defense, Counter Aerial Denial and Defense (A2D2), networked systems intercooperations, overwhelming enemy sensors and close defense systems, intercepting enemies far ahead of the frontline and many more unimaginable things. The US went through the path of swarm attack in the form of the Northrop Grumman X-37B which morphed (though through a troubled journey) to the Lockheed Martin RQ-170 Sentinel. A unit was even captured and clone by Iran. Till date it appears that the journey has ended for the US, the only viable option for them now is to push for the early entry of the still premature DARPA/Pentagon Gremlin Swarm Drone which is still being conceptualized. Dark Sword is a technology that is evolving and would incorporate other advances in time
