Thank you so much for this detailed breakdown. Please my husband has a diploma in university of jos in 2003 and B.Eng in ESUT in 2010. Since they are 2 different schools can this qualify for 2 or more certificates cos I have been reading on the thread that the diploma must be after B.Sc not before.
Also,he has already evaluated the B.Eng with ICES but thinking of evaluating the Diploma separately with WES... please what do you think Sir.

Yes. According to IRCC, to get points for "two or more certificates", one of the certificates should be a three-year or more certificate, diploma, or degree PLUS any of the results in the sections below (source). The "sections below" refers to:

1. Bachelor’s degree or other programs (three or more years) at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute or
2. Two-year degree, diploma or certificate from a program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute or
3. One-year degree, diploma or certificate from a program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute.

To claim points under number three, the ECA assessment results include:

College Certificate
Completion of College-level certificate
University Certificate
University Diploma
One-year certificate in [name of discipline]
Post-secondary certificate with a focus in [area of concentration]
One-year Post-secondary certificate with a focus in [area of concentration]
One-year certificate
Post-secondary certificate with a focus in [area of concentration]
One-year Post-secondary certificate with a focus in [area of concentration]
One-year certificate

Therefore, you are good to go if the ECA summary is "College Certificate" or "Completion of College-level certificate".

Not sure where you read that from, but that's not the case. He can go ahead to evaluate his diploma.

When doing evaluation with IQAS, is it compulsory to request for hard copy of the evaluation or with a soft copy suffice for the purpose of sending same to CIC when filling their form?

This question has been asked repeatedly. You don't need the hard copy.

Good evening great people.
I want to process my transcripts from the university of Jos, can anybody help me withe process and cost.
Also if anyone has a contact it would appreciated.
Many thanks
Its 15k for processing, if u are sending it for foreign institution excluding courier. You raise an IRR from the bursery at main camp, were they will give u an acct number u will use to pay d 15k after d payment u return back with proof of payment to d bursary. The proof of fund will be stamp , u then take it to the transcript office besides the office they issue certificate. You be given a form to fill your details and summit back. That's all, u keep calling them or you contact to know when it ready. I heard d courier charge is between 10-15k depending on the country.
I am still waiting for mine for 3weeks now, I was told the delay is because of students doing registration.

Work experience concern: help needed...
In the last 10 years, I've had 3 different job titles under same NOC in the same organisation. In creating my EE profile, I recorded just my current job role spanning the entire 10 years since it's been same organisation and NOC all these years. However, the reference letter obtained from HR contains details of all job titles and respective duties. Do I have to update my EE profile to align with my reference letter? But that will mean several placeholders in the eAPR form right? But I have just 1 letter...

Not a problem. You'll upload the same letter in the different placeholder.

[quote author=HarveySpecter1 post=68211070]I see a lot of people who just submitted their applications, are so anxious to get to Canada.

Just relax. I hope you have your strategies all planned out. You would need as much money as you can get for accommodation, school or skill upgrade. Accommodation in Canada is quite expensive. [b]What we know as a room and parlor is in the range of C$1400 to C$1500/month
(that's about N450K/month) . You will need money for a lot of things and work may not come immediately.

So why don't you relax and make some more money instead of worrying over an application you just submitted. Its not always "how fast'' but how well
Dude that's abit of an exaggeration relax!

For folks, who did a diploma and used it to gain B.Sc admissions at year two, and have no more degrees.. can't u do evaluations from two assessing bodies?

Eg: WES evaluates your B. Sc and diploma as one degree (B.Sc) because ur year one part of the B. Sc transcript is missing and do another evaluation of ur diploma only with say ICES. To get two more certificates etc points!

Please good people I need your help.

I just checked my ielts results and I got 8.5,9,7,8 for LRWS.

Should I request for a re-mark especially with regards to the writing?

My CRS estimate sits at 431. I don't have a masters and I have a spouse that will come with me.

I have four years experience.

Your sincere suggestion please.
