Too lazy to type so taken from an old post ... prices might have changed .
Time can be hard to predict but leave at least 1h30mins

Step 1: take the Airtrain from jfk terminal to Jamaica Station. Please listen for the anouncement "Station D: Jamaica Station."

Step 2: at Jamaica Station, purchase a $7 MetroCard from the MetroCard Vending Machine, and exit the Airtrain system into Jamaica Station. Five dollars will be deducted from the MetroCard, when exiting the Airtrain system. The remaining $2 will use for the subway.

Step 3: follow the direction signs to the New sub way. Upon entering the subway, take the Manhattan-bound (westbound) "E" express train (Blue Line on the map) from Sutphin Blvd-JFK/Jamaica Station to 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal.

Step 4: at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, exit the subway into the bus terminal. The greyhound ticket counter, is right next door to the subway entrance.

The Directions are spot on but the Prices have increased

The total Price will be $7.75 {$5 Airtrain Fare & $2.75 Subway Fare}

The New York Subway System is very complex, so always make sure you have a map handy and don’t be too embarrassed to ask people for directions even though most people are always in a hurry in New York City.

I got lost several times before I mastered the New York Subway System.

personally i hate greyhound , the only time i entered it smelt so much (might be different now) but yes i understand as a student it good to cut cost .

For me greyhound is for short journeys , maybe if my school was like 5 hours or less bus ride but anything longer than 5 hours on greyhound then i rather fly . If you are still going to TN , then really check the price of local flights from JFK or LGA, it might be $150 or so more expensive than busing , but it quicker and easier for long journeys . Long journey with bus can mean a lot of change change as well , making it stressful

I prefer Megabus to Greyhound.

Firstly, Prices are very cheap when you buy ahead of time

i.e Charlotte to Newyork on Megabus costs only $10 versus $80+ on Greyhound

Secondly, I love the Double Deck Buses used by Megabus

I usually sit on top during long journey because the seats are very spacious & you can stretch you legs plus you can also use the WiFi

Alternatively, you can take the train operated by Amtrak.

Those are comfortable albeit very expensive.

Personally for me if money is not a problem then take Amtrak train OR Buy a Plane ticket.

If you are very tight on Budget then take Megabus to your preferred destination.

why MSU instead of Georgia State University and St Cloud State University. .....Go prepare for that .
also i saw what you did here but not going to comment on that today

He told VO he applied to 3 school, but I expected the safest response would have been only one gave him admission after the follow-up question was why MSU?

Don't mind my contribution, am a learner...

I was at EducationUSA today.

A guy asked the question on not being able to book an appointment immediately after a denial, the consular officer referred him to their help desk. She also added that he should be able to get a date.

The consular officer said they attend to about 1,200 non-immigrant visas per day and a VO interviews about 600 applicants per week.

On whether they are trained psychologist, she said detecting a lie comes naturally by experience. That you cannot be talking to about 600 Nigerians and not get an idea of who is lying

Good morning everyone, Please I need an assistance urgently. I am filling my DS 160 form but I do not want to submit it yet.
I would like to know if the application ID is the same as the confirmation number that I would use to book for my visa.
Also, I hope the application ID does not change when I am about to submit the DS-160 LATER ON.
Finally, does it matter to use a yahoo email to sign up for my F1 Visa profile or would a Gmail be better.
Thanks for your anticipated reply.
ANYONE WITH EXPERIENCE PLS HELP

on friday , just remember this ......... The VO is a human being like you (nothing special) , just one who has a job at the embassy . There absolutely nothing to be nervous about , and it more like a quick chat/interview/ conversation where you are trying to sell yourself on why you should be given a visa . Speak confidently and maintain good eye contact

Thank you so much boss!! I really do appreciate. Please help me read my proposed "why this school" question.

PS: I'm going for my bachelor's degree, I'm 18 and would be 19 next month. please read

Vo: why this school/why Morehouse college?

Me: well, it was an easy decision for me cause I had to choose from all five schools I got into if I'd be spending my 4 years at a research university or a liberal arts college. And I decided to go with Morehouse cause there's a huge focus on a well rounded undergraduate education as there are no PhD students and graduate students and professors are there mainly to teach at undergraduate level which will enhace my academic and personal growth.

[s]Also, I wouldn't be taking classes with 300-400 students as in other research universities I got into because class sizes in liberal arts college are significantly smaller which best fits my type of learning environment.[/s] I also got the most financial aid from Morehouse which makes it the best fit academically, socially and financially.

Please what do you think?

You started well but I don't like the middle .... the world is a big place and you can't run away from it. No graduate school that fair but continously talking about smaller unit. Big unit is good for interaction and a diversity of experiences so I would not over emphasize small unit
