It's just like using porn to masturbate. With time it changes your perception/response to sexual stimuli as you'll tend to get more easily aroused by porn than actual sex with a human being.

Asides that, spending too much time reading romance novel and fantasizing about the sex scenes reduces your productivity. It's also affects your relationship with your loved ones in terms of humanly connections.

Time that would have better been used in bonding and connecting with your spouse and loved ones, making memories, taking good decisions that would affect the family would be used in fantasizing about romance that is unreal and of someone's imagination.

In summary, why imagine living a kind of life when you can actually create the kind of life you desire.

MY wife is 36 and i am 40, we gat 4 kids already,
i told my wife years back during courtship not to buy a romance novel when she wanted to buy one, i told her its unhealthy for thoughts and ideas, that its all fairy tale that can affect our perception of real life. i told her she should out grow it.
8 years later, my wife has become addicted to romance and best sellers novels more than i could ever imagine!
between february and now, she has bought and read about 13 best sellers, their central theme are always sex (you peeps know na).
im not sure what the motivating factor is, but its not because am not romantic enough nor am not bleeping her well enough cos i know am good in that regard, i feel she just like acting and behaving like a teenager which am not too happy about cos we got children looking up and learning from us.
Sometimes i feel like burning the books and face the ugly music, but i dont want us to have a fight because of this tiny issue.
WHATS BEST TO DO? PLEASE I NEED IDEAS! NO INSULTS... ONE LOVE
