What kind of consolation talk is that? Losing all friendly matches because coach doesn't want opponents to know their game plan? So now that England and Czech Republics won, do we know their game plan? That means we are we going to beat them at the real matches, right? SMH

Some great areas in d team have been exposed. The coach and his back room staff need to get down to work and correct those areas before the world cup commences. With the loses so far recorded, it will take pressure off the team, which is good and will enable them go for a kill at the Mundial proper. The team will come good at the tourney, trust the Eagles.. In 1998,we lost 3,straight friendly matches to European opposition prior to France 98, we lost to Germany, yugoslavia and Holland.. On getting to the world cup we faced 2 European team as our first 2 opponents.. We stunned a Spanish team with the likes of Heiro, Raul and others in our opening match and beat Bulgaria to finish top of our group..
This time around we have 2 European team after losing 3 Straight friendly to European opponents..

We will concur, eye don commot for our body, they will write us off...
We will sting and peck them with our tallons.. We sure will..

All these losses suffered by the Super Eagles will likely affect them when the real event commences.

It is also not encouraging for Rohr to be telling the nation that "We are not ready yet."

You guys should calm down! I completely understand the points. But nobody seem to understand that the manager is looking at various tactics he could employ and making sure your opponent do not predict your line up.... he has played different formations with different players.

guy world cup is not like league matches that u av alot of pre season nd buying of players 2 do. international matches like world cup is different so u need friendly matches as ur own pre season. football don dey 2 tactical nd teams send scouts to watch thier opponent games so dey can know their weakness nd use it against dem.
you coach already knows is first team players nd is formation but he is looking for a plan b, so wen things get out of hand he cant switch tacticz nd formation.

I have been thinking of the possibility of him not playing Ezenwa since Algeria game because he don't want other teams to see his flaws.

Ezenwa has a good record of not conceding during open play and very good in picking up corner kicks before anyone can head it but he flopped in the game against Algeria after which he has not been played.


Nigeria team is quite better than what we have been seeing in the friendlies. Seriously.

Mikel's presence in that team is purely political. Maybe he thinks he would still get a good club after the tournament. You can never find somebody like him in any serious-minded team. Our team will always perform so woefully until we remove nepotism from soccer. Our local league players are far better than those boys.
