If this had be declared in 2015 or 2016, it would have been well appreciated. Any way the did has been done. Let us watch and see how the drama unfold come 2019

From the last time I cheched, PMB has cowed the SouthWest with this unprecedented move to give a National Honours to a dead civilian.

Because this is a political season declaration to enable him scale through his second term bid. But I believe lawyers with go to court and upturn this stupid and ignorant decision.

I still stick to Pst David Abioye "Nigerians, don’t vote for people that value cows more than humans".

To be frank I will say that the decision to change the date is really daring attempt geared towards the caucus of the other guys. It is a very solid and thick dividing line.
You're either that way or the other way... No biggie. My point is still the same. Both sides have been irresponsible and using the ordinary defenseless citizens (fans) as bullet shields without any form of support. I may be wrong but at least this is my own experience so far.

shocked

Just as expected of the asslicker.
Nigerians should stand up to this abuse of office.
Yes you can.
Dress up and go to work on June 12.
Our Democracy day is May 29th.

Nigeria is not a Banana republic where public holidays are decreed at will and national awards doled out to unmeriting individuals.
God forbid that I ever consider M.K.O Abiola a hero.
YOU ARE INCONSEQUENTIAL!

All these charade for what? Diversionary tactics can never make Nigerians forget about the corrupt government. 2019 must be the end of these rudderless crooks running the country without a master plan. Shame on Jonathan for behaving like a drunkard during his tenure.
Remove Buhari and bring in yet another person who would fail. You people will never learn. There is something wrong with the structure of the country.

One of such problems is bicameralism that makes decision making slow and expensive. Why do we need Senators that earn so much for doing nothing other than fight for their own personal needs? Two house legislature is too expensive and for a corrupt country like Nigeria, too unnecessary. And their salaries are too high for a country with a minimum wage of 18,000 naira.

Buhari campaigned on the fact that him and his team would address somenofnthe issues you raised there. The unfortunate part of the whole show was him strengthening his propaganda machinery instead of fixing the decay in the system. It took him about six months to choose ministers while the nation was groaning in pain. Another experimental run with Buhari is going to run the nation backward leadin to a more disastrous trend.

Buhari alone cannot fix the system. That was why he lamented that when he was military head of state, it was easier. Today, he has the legislature checking on his powers and you and I know that the legislature has proven to be one of the problems of this country. Perhaps, if people started making these politicians accountable, we would have a good legislature. How I wished the recall of Melaye succeeded so that his ilks can sit up. Imagine the rogues like Ben Bruce joining other Nigerians to throw jabs at the presidency. Supposing he had his people constantly on his neck, he would not even have time for Twitter.

In Nigeria, everything is about the presidency. If that is the issue, then why do we need the Senate? They are just flexing and earning huge salaries. The president is the one taking the blames for the actions and inactions of everyone. We need a parliamentary system of government.

Senseless.

GEJ tried to do something for MKO, it didn't stop the Yorubas from massively voting him out. Please, speak for your people and leave the Yorubas alone. We were not the ones that made you people become politically irrelevant in Nigeria.
