Visa denied! I need to reapply!

I don't have a travel history. I submitted financials in excess of the school's amount, drafted a good SOP, submitted all the IMM forms, did upfront medicals, submitted landed documents in my name. How do I tackle this please?

Applied for a one year Masters of Public health at University of Western Ontario. I had some huge funds hit my account at around the time I applied because I sell cars on side and I failed to include a letter of explanation for the source of funds!

Sorry about that... It will end in smiles and praise. Please when did you apply, Paper route or online and when denied?

I had issues merging mine. What I did was that I filled the IMM 1294 additional page 3 and attached it with my LOE which I merged with other documents and uploaded it on the client information section.

What I am trying to say is that I tried merging the validated IMM 1294 and the additional page I filled but it wasn't working. So what I did was I uploaded the validated one in its section and attached the additional page with the other documents I uploaded in the client information section.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by DrND(m): 1:54pm On Jun 07, 2018

Sorry about the unfortunate turn of events.

I noticed in passing that you never miss the opportunity to emphasize you were admitted to a top ranked University (after mentioning the name of institution), until now. Perhaps giving people admitted to universities of lower ranking reason to loose sleep and indeed, despair. You will be a good ambassador of the institution eventually, Godwilling.

I trust you will address the issues mentioned and re-apply. Wishing you success next time.

Such sarcasm...
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by HerMoney: 2:20pm On Jun 07, 2018
Thanks a million Frank. You are prolly right. I had read about their issues with career progression but didnt want to let fear of that stop me from going for what I have always wanted to do. Plus I took enough time to explain all that in my SOP. I did submit employment docs, Work ID and payslips from my employers. I have ordered the notes and waiting to see like you said. School resumes Sep 4. And I have heard it takes 30 days to get the notes. My main concern now is what would be the point of reapplying if I can't prove I am a bona fide student due to my academic history and intended course of study? I don't want to do anything legal so I really don't know how to tackle that in such a short space of time. What are your thoughts?
Frankrobbn1:

HerMoney,

Well, including a salary bank statement with your application adds more credibility, but I don't think you being unable to include one with your application was what lead to your visa refusal. An employment letter, introductory letter, 3-4 payslips and work ID can evidence your current employment situation.
Back to business, while looking closely from your profile, it happens that you have few/little experience in your intended program, which could further buttress your intent/purpose to be solely for studies to the visa officer and also considering that you're currently working in a legal position, which is not reasonable in control to your proposed course and having studied Law in your previous studies shows no logical progression between your current employment, previous studies and your intended program.

The short and long story is that, you quickly order for your GCMS Note's then we could know the factual reasons behind your refusal and then pick it up from there.

It shall end in praises next time!

Good morning house, I'm interested in studying Master in Public Health in Canada but I'm worried my cgpa might not be strong enough considering that I have checked 2 schools and discovered that although 70/75 per cent was there minimum admission requirement, it was clearly stated that some people with 80 per cent last year got denied as their grade weren't competitive enough.

My overall cgpa is 3.76 while for the last 2 university years is 3.9 or 79 per cent

With this do you think I won't have issue with visa if I apply for Postgraduate studies in community health which is in line with my course and work experience (Public Health)?

Your gpa is good. But you might not have any luck with the top ranked universities in Canada because often times they receive applications from people with higher cgpa. For some like uni of saskatchewan, they tend to consider applications on first come first serve basis cos they receive a lot of applications especially for the MPH degree. I think you should go for usask, apply as early as whenever their portal opens for application, u'll have better chances.

U can also check out other schools, i am just mentioning these two instances because they were the ones i applied to. Uni of Alberta which i got and usask which i did not get cos of late submission.

I hope this helps.

My advise would be firstly write a very sound sop. Take time to mk it quality. Also, show strong ties n n explain explain well how t would bring you back home. In your sop ensure key items that you want the vo to notice that you Bolden them. Also if you have hv awards add it cs it speaks good of you in the eyes of the vo. So basically in my second attempt I added my landed property, awards from community to development I hv done etc. Then PRAY

Thanks for your response. Please did you order for your GCSM notes before you re-apply or basically worked on your SOP? Next week will mark a one since I ordered my case note and same is yet to be provided. I have really don't have time on my side as school resumes in September.

Hello Seniors,

I just checked my CIC account again today, and saw that "They're reviewing the results of my medical exam"

Please note, I didn't do any upfront medical. I only uploaded medical request form.

Basically, eligibility, medical and background check now under review.

Is this normal?

Find attached picture to understand me better.

Thanks in anticipation.
