About time. Some AI augmentation required also a prediction of best possible position at current speed and heading attached to a swivel mechanism. Cheaper than ATGM

Yes put some sensors on it and a small processor. All you need is algorithm to predict where a target will be in a few secs based on what sensors are seeing...then boom.
Everything we call "skill" in a RCL gunner can be done by built in AI for a fraction of what ATGMs cost.

Something like this adapted to RCLs. This is clear enough. Self aiming technology uses sensors, you can fuse EO, sound, radar disturbance, ground vibration, whatever

Russia's newest large landing ship #IvanGren, first of its class (Project 11711), has been officially introduced into the Russian Navy. It was built using cutting-edge tech, has the capacity to carry up to 13 main battle tanks or 36 APCs and 300 marines .

China and Russia's development of low-frequency 'anti-stealth' radars is worrying, not only because they can detect stealth aircraft, but warning systems that alert pilots they are being 'lit up' by radar aren't optimised for that frequency band. More:

Drdo ocean surveillance ship (OSS) aka MRIS

one can see 3 radar domes on the ship.

There r 2 ships under construction.

On launch this will make India the 5th country with the capability to develop and launch such ships after US Russian France and China.

Just don't tell that to Trichy ordinance factory when Kalashnikov threatened to sue their ass on Trichy assault rifle TAR and they had to change the design.

1st pic this is the latest TAR 7.62x39mm

Russia had no complains on Ghatak assault rifle grin

2nd pic Ghatak assault rifle 7.62x39mm

I am zero when it comes to small arms but to me half of the rifles in the world look like tricked out AKs, becz they rely on the dependable AK mechanism either based on it or modified.
