While we all celebrate Moshood Abiola for his achievement ; I just want to remind everyone that June 12 was not an exclusive event that fell from the sky

Something led to June 12

This administration is choosing to engage in “Selective Historical Symbolism”

The story of June 12 1993 started in December 31 1983. If Buhari and his cronies did not truncate democracy and oust Shagari may be there will be no June 12.

So if Buhari want to reflect on our history he should start by apologising for that 1983 coup de tat.

And for our brothers in South West this move by the Presidency is not about you. It is about Buhari. He wants to gin up votes for himself in Yoruba land while also reminding us of IBB’s failaure.

The problem is Buhari has no moral right to reflect on our past history of democracy if he will not apologise for his role in 1983!

I love you so much Abaribe. Abaribe drew parallels between June 12 and December 31 on the floor of the senate

Just the way yeebos military officer are to be held for the Nigeria civil war that led to the killing of millions of Nigerians.

If the Igbo military officers didn't plan a sentimental coup, the civil war won't have happened

buhari was in 3rd armored division rukuba barracks, jos plateau state during the coup,he didn't partake in the coup.

But I don't understand why we have to blame him for what happened in 1993

Should we also blame ifeajuna and nzoegwu for the Nigeria civil war that lead to the death of millions of Nigerians?
