Yup, your phone is probably at the airport (handover to airline), tracking will be updated to despatched to over seas on singpost/17track as soon as it actually leaves china. Track on cainao global.

I have been using the Redmi 5 Plus 4gb/64gb (Chinese version) for a little over 2 months now. Before now, it was an Infinix phone, Hot 2 to be precise.

I have enjoyed the device to a large extent but with some reservations.
1. I always have to dial a ussd code every time I need to switch back to 3G network. It makes no sense.
2. I would always have network losses every now and then. I don't know if it's a bug in the latest update.
3. Because of the rom I'm using, I can't access the themes and fonts on the theme store and it's annoying asf. Maybe when I find someone who can help me flash the phone to a global rom it'll get better.

I like the speed, the long lasting battery and some other key features though.

If it's indeed Chinese rom, you should be able to access both themes and fonts, please screenshot your about phone.

Indeed you are running Chinese rom, might want to wait before you update, but why can't you download themes? Have you logged in Mi Account?
