The capital city of Nigeria, Abuja, and the country’s acclaimed economic capital, Lagos, have been ranked among the top 20 worst cities in the world to live in.

Giant of Africa, Nigeria, have been featured in international rankings once again in Mercer’s newly released 20th annual Quality of Living survey, and ranked low compared 231 other major metropolises.

Mercer examined factors such as crime, healthcare, education, public services, recreation, housing and personal freedom in its latest ranking.

As expected, Two Nigerian cities; Abuja (213) and Lagos (212), made it into the top 20 worst cities to live in Africa.

According to this years ranking, Bangui, Central African Republic (230) was the lowest ranking African city for quality of living as the worst city to live in Africa.

They are followed by Khartoum, Sudan (227), N’Djamena Chad (226), Brazzaville Congo (224) and Kinshasa Democratic Republic of the Congo (223).

Below are The top 15 worst cities to live in Africa 2018.

Abuja beats their Nairobi slum hands down. Nairobi can only compete with one of the cities inside Lagos. It is an insult to even compare that their slum with Lagos whose GDP renders Kenya and the Eastern Africa's economy combined a child's play.

I wish Lagos could be given a special status but because of political reason that will take a long time.
