I wouldn't recommend him if he wasn't. When you're done dealing, you'll post your testimony in the group as others have been doing.

I don't think it's activated on Global version, I don't get VoLTE as well on mine.
Now, this got me curious. Interesting, given that the only difference between the Chinese and Global variants are the LTE bands.

But before we come to any conclusion, try the following;

Method 1.
First of all, Change your region to India. Then go to network setting and make sure VoLTE toggle is enabled, then reboot. If VoLTE still doesn't come up, try method 2.

Method 2.
While your region is still in India, dial *#*#4636#*#* and enter the Phone information of your ntel sim. Scroll down and make sure VoLTE toggle is enabled. If it is and VoLTE still hasn't come up, then reboot. If after rebooting and you still don't have VoLTE, then try method 3.

Method 3.
While your region is still in India, dial *#*#86583#*#*, then reboot. If VoLTE doesn't come up, then change region back to Nigeria and go to network settings. If VoLTE switch is missing, then dial *#*#86583#*#* and reboot again.

Try and follow these steps carefully and accordingly. Hopefully, VoLTE will POPUP.

Damn!!!! Xiaomi deserves all the accolades man. This device is the bomb. I just got myself Redmi 5a 2/16gb and I must say I am loving every bit of it. With such performance for just 31k, I wonder how the likes of Note 5/Note 5 pro and the Mix series would be.

I got MIUI Global 9.1.6.0 out of the box, immediately after setup, I got an update for MIUI 9.5, but I didn't update cause my data is not up to 1.3gig...

Enough of the long talks, abeg make una welcome me to the family cool

How is battery life?

The monikers you mentioned are well credible. Your budget will get you from Redmi 5A 3gig ram/ 32gig rom to Redmi 4x, Redmi note 5a, and Redmi 5, all 2gig ram/16 gig rom. If I should choose, not considering rom and ram, will go with the Redmi 5 because is has the best processor and more trendy 18:9 screen.

If the money is there, you can go for the 64gig version, otherwise you can use the extra 10k to get a 64 gig memory card and use only one sim. The higher ram is just for better multitasking, no reduction in performance of the 32 gig rom version.

Sorry, don't get me wrong, Huawei only beats Xiaomi in the high end segment, that's phones over 200k, your best bet under such budget is Xiaomi or some other products, can't even recommend the Huawei Honour 6x nowadays. You can check out the Huawei Honor 7C
