According to reports, The crash barrier on the 3rd Mainland Bridge around 6:30 a.m today prevented a loaded Volkswagen LT bus with 22 passengers from landing in the Lagoon when it somersaulted on its way to the Island.

But how is the topography of the road to third mainland that makes accident occur in a daily basis?
All the bridges here in Akwa Ibom are properly designed that you wouldn't even know till you descend the bridge. So what is really happening at third mainland?
