tecno understand dia market, no mobile aficionado will go for dis... 1gb and no LTE for a 100 usd fone frm an android OEM that aint samsung is a big NO NO... y DRAM oems sef go still dey churn out 1gb

Good question. TECNO actually released the Spark series last year as a phone with bare essentials but with a really good camera.

Sacrifices were made for that camera like Ram, low end chipset, HD display etc but the thing sold like hot cake. People wanted a good looking device for mirror selfies. Those people (not me) are the reason Spark 2 looks more beautiful and has a better camera than every phone in that price range.

Granted there's a 2GB ram spark 2 variant and 4G/LTE version from last year's spark which might be quietly introduced again this year.

Bottom line is the phone is meant to be fine(pass for midrange) and take good pictures and that's exactly what it does.

Most 36K phones sacrifice camera quality, display size and overall design of the phone for a newer 28nm process quad core processor, 4G/LTE, 3GB/2GB Ram and even 32GB storage. Spark 2 just flipped the table.

Some OEM need some Sense..

100USD phone should Park nothing less than 2 GB RAM..

What s the difference in price between 1GB and 2GB they can't add to the cost of phone sad

Since my prediction for page 3k is about to spoil, I have decided to give out something instead for a very funny reason.
I am going to give out 7 N100 recharge cards for getting 70k useless likes on NL after 4.7years (not including the likes lost from the 2014 hack). If the likes could be converted to Naira, I would have given out more but you see...

Anyway, that is my page 3k gift. The recharge PINs will be posted at random. So try your luck. wink

Good morning guys,

I believe some of you still remember my terrible experience with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Mtk last year. Am sure Gptech, Protein etc will remember. I tried all I could to have it fixed but every effort proved abortive. I am happy to let you know that after over 6 months of packing it up in the carton, it has now decided to come back from the dead. In fact, it is the device I am using to send this post. I just want to ask a few questions... Is anyone here still using this Xiaomi variant? If yes, What MIUI are you on and is it advisable to update from my stock MIUI 8.2.1.0 to the current update notification of MIUI 9.5.2.0 currently beaming from my update task bar? Also, please how can I remove the notification highlighted on the attached picture? Thirdly, how can I back my phone up and also restore it? A practical step will be great..

On a final but sad note, my Note 4x which I bought right after the issue suffered with the Mtk, has suddenly developed the same problem my Mtk had. I truly don't understand why I am having these experiences with MI phones. I have concluded that, the problem lies in my usage and most notably, the power bank I use with this phones. All indications are pointing to this one factor. Some help with my 4x will be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, I will have to be using my back from the dead mtk device. Thanks guys and have a great day, your advices and help will be much appreciated. Please don't forget to look at the attached image and offer your solutions. Thanks again!

Incarnation! Swap of spirit shocked. Your phones get one spirit but two bodies.

What exactly happened to the note 4x? it will be easier to fix. Meanwhile, you should do that update on the note 4.

Thanks sir! As for the Note 4x, I charged it over the night and slept, on waking up and trying to put it on, it refused coming on up till this moment. When I try to charge it using electricity, the red notification light just keeps blinking without charging. This has been the issue for 2 days now... Thanks for your help

Lol joke?

ubev01:

Xiaomi has always been about powerful processors that translate to value for money. I don't think they would be turning that table any time soon.

Their 36,000 devices look cheaper than Spark 2 and newbies on here keep complaining that the Note 5A camera is terrible or that it records in 3GP format but it more than makes up for all that in the CPU & GPU department to me. Gotta take budget devices for what they are. Perhaps why some brands release them like chips...so many in one year.

Good morning guys. I have a little problem. I was playing on the lucky patcher app on my phone and I uninstalled the Google play services app. I have since installed it back but my phone has been misbehaving since then. I keep getting the 'Google play services keep stopping' notification bug every second. I'm also unable to log in to playstore too. Please, what can I do?
