It’s a standard practice for lawyers to Demand a certain percentage when recovering money depending on how difficult the case is but mostly it’s always between 5-10% or a bit more if some certain conditions are attached to it .
Private companies institution multinationals and governments engage in these practice.
If the law firm who handled this case is getting 500mill out of 330billion’ then Nigeria got a superb deal because the law firm is getting less than 2% .

This elephant project has been there for decades and 500 million Naira is nothing to it. However, if 300 billion Naira plus can come in, it is better.

It happens everywhere, A lot of Nigerians in the diaspora make millions and send back home. The only problem was because MTN refused to pay the required tax.

MTN is a Limited liability,registered in Nigeria, employing Nigerians and now they've shat a massive load in front of the hall.
500m is a Small fee to pay to ginger the cash.
