Record labels are business outfits, they invest on upcoming artistes so that they can make profit in future. If all the artistes behave like kiss Daniel and leave once they blow, then how are the record labels supposed to make gain? Remember they take a huge risk investing on the artistes because it's possible after spending millions on the artistes, they may not blow and all the money will waste so what is in it for them if the artistes just abandon them when they blow?

Humble pie my foot. Business is about trust and that element is lost in their relationship so I don't see them doing tangible business together.

Nigerian youth and supporting bad behaviour.Later when they say something bad about our attitude,we start nagging.What Daniel did is wrong,but because he is a celebrity alot are saying they should let him go.So some open a record label sign an artist who is above 18years,that artist(an adult) bridge a contract,and you think its ok.You will hardly hear such issues in developed countries.The artist will not even try that,because he or she knows he will definitely pay a large fine or go to jail or both.

Go to court. The Trade mark agency didn't do due diligence before approving that application. He was already using the name on videos as stage name well before the application date! He should even sue for damages from the agency!

It's just like registering the name Wizkid as your trademark! Whoever approves that trademark should be sacked!

i'm sorry but that is not a valid proof that he owns that name. until you copyright/trademark a name,you can't successfully lay ownership to it.
