I think what is unfair is allowing the Computer guy to write the test and attend the interview when you know beforehand he will not be shortlisted eventually. Moreover, both were subjected to the same test and interview alike. So choosing one over another should be issue of discretion and not of fairness.

Most candidates that applied for a position not relating to their course of study were shortlisted for the aptitude test because they had sponsors that submitted their names for consideration. There was a lot of pressure. They had to accept the names to fulfil all rightenous for relief. To be honest, the some shortlisted candidates for the test were picked at random. That’s why some persons that were highly qualified for certain positions were left out in the beginning.

marvel64 can u plz further explain how d final scores will be, am thinking they will sum both test and interview scores with division of 2 to give final score?or they will finalize by taking only interview scores? Secondly what is d score for test and score for interview? Tnx

Please kindly refer to my previous posts. I explained all of that in detail.
70% and above in the interview will get you the job, provided the other factors I mentioned in my previous posts are Satisfactory. Best of Luck!

It is alright. If they were not supposed to have writen the test nor invited for the interview, in the first place, then the recruiters did the right thing.

Just say okay and move on.
What is your statement going to change. You get?.
Let's just be getting the updates and or ask questions if we have. No need to counter or argue.

Everything will be clear when the letters come.

Oga, there is nothing wrong with people reasoning with each other in this thread. If you prefer the questions and the updates, then go for it. After all, none of the things said here(the updates included) is going to alter the final outcome. However, while we wait, we should be free to engage ourselves in reasonable discussion.

If 'ok' is what you feel is the best form of reponse here, then lead by example. Myself still reserve the prerogative to react in the way I deem best.

Good morning,

The candidates course of study in relation to the position applied is the first thing considered before other factors. This factor wasn’t applied when candidates were shortlisted for the interview.
Therefore even if a person with BSc. in computer engineering that applied for an Electrical Engineer position aced the test and interview, he/she is more likely to be dropped. If it’s allowed it would be unfair to the Candidates that hold a Bachelors degree in Electrical Enginerring
if a computer engineering guy that aced both test and interview with high score is dropped for an electrical engineer with low score because the post applied for is electrical. then quota system/federal character concept isn't bad.
NB. if actually your word is to be true

The information I share on this thread is objective but it’s still subject to debate. It is expected that with these updates, one should go back, make enquiries through their sources and Share their findings. This is a faceless forum, theres no need to hold back any piece of information. The list has been approved and there’s no going back. I made these shocking revelations because everything has been concluded.

I must commend neverdown, Ferguson, Tamihawtt and Smatgrid etc. for their significant contributions on this thread. These guys have provided us with genuine info in the past. I expect every other person to follow suit.

We should expect to hear from Tamihawtt from Tomorrow. Whether she says anything contrary to what I’ve said or in agreement, everyone should still appreciate her effort.

Many will testify with on this thread soon. Peace!

@bold, I thought you are Smartgrid reloaded, are you commenting yourself? Lol

Good job brother!

Question for you from my end.
I was among the APC initially when people started receiving invitations for interview. After some weeks, I was among the few people that was later call for the interview as my portal was open back. I applied for EH, Elect./Elect. and am HND holder. Do you think my test score was low, that was why I wasn't invited in the first invitation or do your think EHs were invited during the second invitation?

From my own assessment, I did well on the test and also the interview.

Note: I dont know even a gate man at DPR, and no political weight at all.

God is my only hope.

From Marvel64 Posts, I may be wrong but i get the vibe that test result didn’t matter after the Interview. The test scores were just used to pick those that should proceed to the Interview on merit.

Selection was done solely based on the Interview’s “selection criteria” and your Interview score without any regard for test score.

Hmm
so you didn't see "average score " in his post.
