Haha!! My people, I reached one conclusions yesterday. Cristiano Ronaldo is the biggest opportunist in the history of this game. Spain gave away too cheap fouls (a penalty and a free kick) and he capitalized. And to make matters worse, De Gea who's arguably the best goalkeeper in the world gifted him a cheap goal as well angry sad shocked

But that serves Spain right. Like I posted on twitter:
CR7 destroyed a disorganized and confused Spanish team. You don't fire your coach on the eve of the World Cup and still expect to do well. @SeFutbol is a hot mess. Talk about cut your nose off to spite yourself. Spain may not qualify for the round of 16 and that would serve them right.

Now, let's talk about the Eagus. I am predicting Nigeria 3 Croatia 1. What say you, my people

O pari

It's a mark of nobility to acknowledge the quality of Ronaldo even if you don't like him. He did excellent yesterday

It was an error uncharacteristic of De Gea. The shot was good, but 99 times out of 100 he saves it comfortably.
He will not save it!!!
it was viciously hit.

you guys don't know who ronaldo is, i can see

nothing vicious in that shot. Even Ronaldo, from initial body language, didn't know it was going to score. He knew the shot wasn't strong enough. A world class keeper of De Gea status will save it 90 percent of time

Im not in the mood to talk down other teams and I try to avoid this, but we may witness a repeat of France in 2002 and 2010. It's certainly possible.

France in 2010 was so poor they could give anyone jaundice. 1 goal in the competition and last in the group

so, did you expect De Gea to say it was a weak shot?

Coming here to quote the person that conceded the ball does not make the claim true.

There was zero power in that shot.

Kenneth is more suited for this match IMO. He is also better in the air and can be a better help defending set pieces.
U must be joking. Omeruo is better than our best defender Ekong? It should be Balogun not Ekong of all people.

That's the most annoying part. All of them creating meaningless excuses, because he's DDG. Same excuses they didn't give Karius, nor Uzoho on this thread, talking about how bad he is, bla bla bla. They're talking like we have never watched him save more impossible shots than that, some from even impossible positioning.

Ronaldo was exceptional yesterday, we all saw it, doesn't mean DDG wasn't a flop yesterday. He didn't even save 1 shot. 1 like this.

Don't get me wrong, he did OK. The free kick goal especially was a very well taken kick. But the fact is, it was a very silly foul by Pique at a very dangerous position. Any top player (Messi, Neymar, Iheanacho, etc) would've made that free kick as well. As a matter of fact, I told the folks around me that it's 3-3 immediately Pique committed that foul.
