You're so right. The issue is that such presenters lack the ability to deliver their speech extemporaneously.

Another thing that can help hold your audience is your ability to speak right. Good diction. Above all, prepare, prepare and prepare.

From my experience, some people actually prepare more than prepare especially the learners but when the whole eyes are fixed on them, they lose balance and begin to stammer.

True, a good presenter gotta display these attributes involuntarily however, I think starting your session this way may likely do more harm than good in 9 out of 15 sessions.
