If we like let's play 3-5-10 we will be beaten. This team lacks the desire to win.

I don dey watch Nig for long. We don't lose this way. Even when Denmark defeated us in 98 we fought. We were only overpowered. This one we just surrendered.

We've been here ramping up believe in the team, fending off vultures who feed on the carrion of defeat but alas even the team has no believe in themselves.

Once you lack faith in yourself even heaven cannot help you.

Thats not true. The match isnt about desire to win. It is about bad deployment of personnels. End of story

Tell me what did the gaffer do differently in his last couple of games? Remember the definition of insanity is doing the same thing the same way and expecting a different outcome

Funny enough, the present crop are not even as talented as the ones in 2014.
Trust me, we took more naturally talented players to Brazil.

the present players are not as bad as we think either, they are equally talented, yes they lack belief but it's down to the coach, is it not the same players like omeruo, onazi, mike, even moses that played under keshi, one thing players coached by keshi normally says is that he made them believed in themselves, even balogun who came into the eagles by keshi still said so on keshi's day of remeberance in an interview

Guys cheer up! They can't give what they don't have.
We all know the potential of each player & as a team.
They will be back soon. The current super eagles have nothing special to offer. They neither have the skill nor flair. Lower your expectation about them. Don't give yourself high BP over their matches. Watch their matches, laugh at their flaws & if they ever score a goal if ever, rejoice with them.

Today shaa.... Well.... smiley Well smiley Well smiley

We have it all to do now against our toughest opponent in the group, Iceland. They will be tougher than Croatia... A hard nut to crack and a team dipped in the rivers of blood and sand. They will be extremely difficult but I think we have a chance against them. The chance though is not so obvious but still, we can keep the ball more than they can and can stretch the play to open up a few tiny holes in their dreaded two layers of hardcore defensive wall... Chances will be few and we need a player who can make the most of the few half chances we will have.

Ighalo must take a bow and leave the stage for Iheanacho to come in. We need goals and need to win to keep our WC dreams alive. A draw is suicidal against Iceland.

Croatia is coasting. All they need now is to dominate Argentina in the middle and see off that game with a win or worse a draw. This will put more pressure on Argentina going into their last game with us. But first we must beat Iceland.

This group is gonna go down to the very last minutes of the last two matches. The two qualifiers won't be known until the last games if we bounce back against Iceland with a win and Argentina fails to beat Croatia.

This group is very open and promises to rbe the group where more twists and shockers will happen.

This is the world cup. We are still in it as it stands. It's not yet over until it is over.

Haaaaaa!!!!!. Are you really serious. Let's face reality, there is something wrong somewhere that we don't know about for now. But deep within us we know we are out. We need to stop hoping and start doing something about our situation. There are issues with this team. Big issues!!!

THE summary of this match is
ROHR HAS KILLED US(this coach is a very stubborn and tactically inept coach).and from the look of things we might get buried against Iceland if he does not realise his mistakes.
TAKE NOTE OF THESE
1.From the match stats we had just ONE SHOT on target.
2.We have scored only TWO GOALS in our last four matches.

I have said it before and I will say it again
IWOBI is the key, but this coach keeps playing the most creative player we have in this team as a winger, how do you expect to score goals?
MIKEL is useless as an AM, very slow, no eye for goal, totally useless

Ebuehi is better than SHEHU, the fact that this man keeps starting shehu ahead of Ebuehi keeps me wondering what he sees in this SHEHU.

Rohr did not learn a single thing from our friendlies. It is very clear even to the blind that 3-5-2 is the best formation for this team but the old man has refused to accept.

IF NIGERIA FAILS TO MAKE IT OUT OF THE GROUP STAGE THAT MAN MUST BE SACKED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT

Unfortunately, all our goal scoring prowess starts and ends on the training pitch.

The next time I hear "Ighalo scores brace for Team A in training" or "Iheanacho shines in training"... I go swear for that person. embarassed

This calls for emergency! We can't score goals!!! shocked sad

Shehu did good and people are still making up lies about him being poor just to get Ebuehi in the squad.
My only problem was starting Ekong over Omerou and leaving Mikel on the pitch so long. We have to come to terms that Uzoho will make a mistake every match.

We were so slow off the blocks. No urgency whatsoever, don't know why Mikel played for that long.
People blaming Ighalo are not being fair as he should have been used for the Iceland match and his physicality would have been appreciated. Iwobi on the flanks today did not make sense.
Shehu did not help the attack and struggled in defence.
Maybe Mikel should play DM and remain there.
To be honest I really did not believe we could win but to lose like this is unacceptable.
They need to redeem themselves and stay off social media abeg.
All this fashion and singing is for Nations cup standard.
This is the world cup.
I expect a response even if we do not qualify from the group. Show them them the Naija way of playing football not all these crap

I only blame Rohr for not getting it right with the correct tactics when defending corner kicks. It makes me wonder the purpose of the camping in Austria.

That said, the team picked itself today, if we are honest. Nigerians still haven't realized how much overhyped these players are.
Fighting this over hype is the main reason I'm in the black books of many people here.
Of course we knew it was not going to be easy. Yes the team picked itself but Rohr did not utilized them to their fullest capacity.
Imagine if Etebo was playing behind Ighalo instead of Mikel and pressing their CBs with Ighalo?
Imagine Etebo closer to the opposition half and swapping position with Iwobi?
Sure you'll say it doesn't matter but trust me little things like this does.
Mikel building from deep with Iwobi and Etebo rounding things off would've been much better than this nonsense we saw.
Starting Ebuehi would've been a good idea.
Starting Nacho would've been a good idea.
It was always 50/50 to get out of the group but we didn't push Croatia enough.
That is all on Rohr. He's the one that stupidly stacked this team with b2b/destroyers instead of looking for creativity.
He's the one that didn't try to do anything when we lost our true natural winger in Moses Simon without doing anything.
Screw Rohr. We gave him the benefit of the doubt and he flopped. Very conservative and inflexible.
All Pinnick's effort has gone to waste because of this fool.

We lost this game due to inexperience. But my question is, had it been it was a Croatian player in a tussle with a Nigerian striker, would d referee have blown for a pk in favour of Nigeria? Am very sure NO.

These 3 teams have big tournament experiences. Island with Euros, Peru with Copa America, Australia with the Asian championship and 2014 world cup.

In our starting 11,only Mikel and Moses have big tournament experience for the Super Eagles. That should tell you everything
Abeg I no buy this your theory. Suddenly copa America, Asian championship have become big tournaments sufficient to ground teams at the WC
OK please tell me which big tournament experience Iceland had prior to the last Euros in which they surpassed expectations
