Every rider will like you as a driver. You are a handsome dude. Even if you fumble, they will quickly ignore. Your fine face + gym body + fine car, haba , you garrit.
Dovehorizon:
Goodmorning and happy Sunday.

Always make sure you start your day in a positive note. Take atleast 5minutes out of your time to thank your Creator.
Once you wake up, don't just jump out of the bed, straight to the bathroom and after that head straight to you car, nahhhhh you are starting your day on a wrong note.
First things first, pray, speak positivity into your day, speak light into your day and allow God to take control. if you are late, pray in your mind, you can pray while bathing, don't rule out the Grace of God, we all need His Grace in such a competitive and evil world we live in.

I remembered when I tried correcting a driver on this thread, some lashed out at me.
Let me give few tips...
1. Greeting your rider should be a must, if your rider replies or not shouldn't be your business.
If your rider replies, good...
2. Take little things into consideration. There are things you can't really control, such as nature. When your rider isn't comfortable, maybe he or she got cold, catarrh, sneezing/coughing, it's wise to show a bit of care, offer a wipe to use, ask if he or she needs water to drink, 50/100naira from your pocket won't kill you.
3. Don't start a conversation except your rider initiates it, if your rider initiates it, know how to maintain professionalism.

4. Use a mild body spray and airfreshner.

There are so many more...

Well, that's a pix of me for those who wanna have an idea how I look like...

Best of luck my brother.

Before you buy, have a good unbiased mechanic inspect the car.

Make sure you have enough for "Change of Ownership" and Comprehensive Insurance.

Also take time to study if it would be economical to maintain the car after purchase.

Spolier Alert - Kia don't have a good second hand value.
Thanks a lot. Considering insurance fee, I may have to go with rentage for now & later HP

nice advise..... thank you but before u make conclusions about a deal you are not involved in or you dont really understand you need to ask questions..

1, "Now 1month gone no remittance" one month he hasnt made remittance what is the reason? did he just decide not to pay or what really is the problem

2, "Car was recovered yesterday with gear issue, unserviced and bashed car Upandan with lots of stories to follow up." how come someone that drove your car for 4months withouth bashing it or having gear or mechanical issues now drove a care for a month and the car has bashes up and down on the body?? did u ask the condition the car was before it was given to him? or what really cus the bashes and the gear issues?

try and answer this questions if you cant then ask to be informed...

dont conclude on an event untill you are 100% sure you have the correct story...

from my experience, in as much as that route Lagos to Accra is better than driving Uber it has its own challenges... you are travelling out of your country into another country with people and load not just you and the car...

you need more than a month to stabilize and start making money.

with the new laws and enforcement on Nigerian registered vehicles its a lil bit tougher operating on that route as a private transporter, its easier as a registered company with parks and branded vehicles, so its a rat race for private transporters.

if that driver has paid 200k as down payment... that means he has spent an addition of 300k to register the car to operate that road... that is making it 500k already...

this guy cant possibly spend that much and get the vehicle in the bad condition out of carelessness in one month... so you see there are questions to be asked not coming here to say stuffs about the driver...

madam drivers on this platforms and everywhere go through shit everyday, we dont allow our emotions get 100% of us if not u will hear of accident everyday.

please i advise you get the full gist from all the parties involved before you make a conclusion and come somewhere like this to talk about it....

thank you ma

Enyinne:
Hummmmm people sha get lever, when they are asking and pleading for favour ,the sound like Angels but immediately it get sorted ,there real colour surfaces .One guy came on this platform asking for HP for sienna to Ghana, he got someone who gave him 05 sienna for it but not for this thread.Fortunately this particular driver that came here asking for this was my former driver partner for 4months before asking me for sienna,as I cldnt provide the car, he came on the thread to sweet talk people with his proposal. Now the new person that gave him a sienna is a my friend that is into uber biz . He asked me to come see the driver for the sienna ,I was there and coincidentally it happens to be my old driver ,I approved the deal cos I never really had a any issue with him but he has already started telling this man about me with usual driver story against their partner. I ignored it cos I know he felt the best way to get his new prey is to condemn someone. Now he started off the HP ,dropped 200k for initial deposit to continue paying 50k weekly. Now 1month gone no remittance . Car was recovered yesterday with gear issue, unserviced and bashed car Upandan with lots of stories to follow up .
Let's be careful cos people can change to something else within a short time cos of stress and challenge of life ,always be u and never allow situations to change u rather change the situation .

There are a lot of these extraordinary clients and most of them are on Uber than taxify; meeting them isn’t the challenge but identifying them. The client must have been impressed with some things before they offer offline trips. There are some who just like the way you reason & respond to conversations, a lot of them check your appearance too.

I picked a group of friends at The Place in Ikoyi recently & one of them thought he approached the wrong car because in his opinion, he felt my appearance was too good for an Uber driver. I’ve taken Uber/Taxify severally and only very few of the drivers impressed me. I remember one EOD that the driver had one hand on the wheel & the other hand on an improvised switch for the AC, which he kept switching on & off every two minutes all through the trip.

grin grin cheesy that EOD that guys must be Mexican

If you insist it was luck, then have got No other choice than to agree with you.

But wait a moment, there is a saying that says we make our luck right?

According to his story, I completely believed he make his luck on that day by connecting with those riders even the rude girl.

Also, he only made one leg of the journey for each of those riders, someone on the platform also made the other leg of the journey with those riders without connecting with them. Do you see the golden opportunity they let slip by not connecting with those riders.

If we call him lucky, are the other drivers who did the returning part of the journey for those riders without connecting with them unlucky?

They have the same opportunities with those riders but with different attitude and mindsets so there results or outcome are different.

He used the opportunity well, so we call him Lucky whereas the other drivers do not use the opportunity well, so we call them unlucky abi grin cheesy grin

Boss man, not everything in life is black and white. I believe we are on the same page whether you believe he was lucky or not. But what I know is there are lots or people driving their rare and expensive cars with the right attitude on the platform but gets matched with mostly Oloriburuku people.
As long as he doesn't get to chose the calibre of people that request him, a bit of luck is required to get the kind of riders be got. I've seen billinioares say they got lucky.
But again, I see some of my points in what you said so we are on the same page. Taink you shocked
