A friend of mine disputes programming is meant usually for comp. science students. so others who computer science is not their field cant be that good.

bro programming /coding is not meant for Computer science students alone ,i have seen lots of guys on quora who didn't even go to school,they have only there high school diploma they are working in top tech companies .it's only in Nigeria where we think coding is for computer science students alone .

I have a friend with a degree in Chemistry. He has never used his certificate for once but lives on coding.

Those l have worked with, without a computer science or software engineering degree have all turned out to be jokers.

Most good coders didn't study computer science. They're mostly self taught.

Oh God why do people always compare comp sci with programming this are two different things. Programming is under computer science and so are many other things a computer scientists may not even know how to code but might be good at other fields related to Computer science....
