I’m sorry, the errors Rohr made were
obvious even before the match started. We did not learn anything from our friendlies — that’s the issue at hand.

Oasis007:
grin

Some Monikers really amazed me. I thought they religiously believe in Rohr, trust his Project and ready to stand by him even if he fails at this World Cup.

They preached severally to us not to be fickle-minded, just in case things go south at the Mundial. They tagged Rohr the second coming of Messiah, and the best thing to ever happen to Nigeria Football - post-Westerhof Era though.

Alas! They keep wailing more than bereaved. They keep lamenting, gnashing Teeth, ready to tear down Rohr and his Project. My Point is; why are they preaching what they can't practice?!

Some Monikers are looking up to them cos they are Homies on this Thread, but they've failed those who believed in their loyalty and patriotism.

TheSuperNerd, Michael2, Mujtahida, Tbaba1234, Joseph1013, Komekn, Icon4s, Forgiveness, and some other notable Monikers weren't as well happy with the Result, but didn't discard Rohr, the Project and the Players because of the Match.

They analyzed the Match, where it went wrong, and suggested tactical Solutions to avoid another negative Result in our next Game. They ain't cursing or insulting Rohr or the Coaching Crew, they picked the talking-points, analyzed it, debated it and already move unto the next Match.

Pls Eagulians, enough of wailings. Let's go back to pre-world Period. Let's believe again...... coz in a Game of Football - Nothing is Impossible..

Although this could be medicine after death but I do think the team needs a world class psychologicist in times like this. I think we highlighted on this point in our thread world cup 10 pointer championed by Icon4s.
I get the sense that the players are scared out of their minds now after the loss and moreso with the abuse on their social media.
I noticed Leon Balogun deactivated comments on his Instagram page.
The team really needs a psychologist because I forsee fear and lack of self believe creeping into the players. Some will even be too careful to avoid mistakes, thereby making lots of mistake as a result. Coupled with the fact the team is inexperienced at this level, could be even a more humiliating performance.

I'm not saying this because I expect the team to win the group but I don't want Nigeria to be embarrassed.

Bruh, I support the Eagles.
That won't stop me from saying the truth though.
I want them to go as far as they can.

So you are saying, the team needs a psychologist to Psyche them up not to embarrass themselves, rather than Psyching themselves up to win? .. Hear yourself?

If you don't think they will win, then why waste m.b here that you could use to watch the highlight of Mexico's match, and, feel good?

I laugh at the many shameful comments condemning this team. It is a pity.
So if your child comes back feeling sad after having a bad day in his first paper at school, what you will do is to castigate him and bring him down abi... Especially when this same child is one that has shone in previous classes before now.
What motivation is he expected to carry into his next paper when the reaction is calling him a failure already and a waste of space, unserious and all.

This is really really good. This loss has exposed us all. Well done people. Now I know the extent to which each and every moniker can stand by this team. smiley

#SoarSuperEagles #IStandWithTheEagles #WeDontGiveUp

people are only showing their anger towards the coach for been conservative.

Everyone was behind him when he made the right call in his team selection for the World Cup. Everyone was behind him after the first lost in the friendly game againist Serbia, we all stood by him against Congo, England, Czech even when the results weren't coming in. He kept playing with peoples emotion and the heart of 180million Nigerians. Even when it was obvious to everyone that the problem does not lie with the players but with the coaching staffs.

Rohr and his coaching crew kept on doing the same thing that cost us in those matches and you want the same people who stood by him, gave him benefit of doubt and hoping that he'll do well in the world cup during those periods to follow him blindly now that he has failed and broke their heart once again...

We are humans and not some bunch of robots. We love the Super Eagles and thats why we criticise and vent our anger.

Just saw this brilliant predictions.

According to my master algorithm, which is still under study, the match will produce less than 3 goals and both teams not to score.

Do not gamble!

Nne, did somebody steal your handle or did you really post this with your eyes wide open?

So with this your ideal formation, we should have: VicMo, Iwobi, Kelechi, and Ighalo in the field at the same time? In the name of playing with a "support striker"? That's like playing with 4 forwards. And you'll just surrender the midfield to Croatia, right? C'mon Kelechi Iheanacho is a striker. So it's either him or Ighalo, not both.

O pari

grin

........ but England has Kane, Alli, Raheem, Lingard even Young in the same Lineup?! This Afternoon, Belgium had Lukaku, Hazard, Carrasco, and Kevin and they won convincingly.

Do you know what's common between them......?! 3 at the Backs!

I LOVE IT.
But
1.I will prefare Moses to play the left wing back, he has speed loves to run with the ball and is a treat going forward and can also recover faster than Idowu when he loses the ball.
2.Etebo is needed in that midfield to add steel to it, so I will play a trio of Etebo-Mikel-Ndidi along side Moses and Ebuehi as the two wing backs.
3. IWOBI will play along side Iheanacho in a false Nine system.

We can beat any team with this formation if the boys are determined and bullish in their approach

UZOHO
OMERUO-BALOGUN-EKONG

EBUEHI-NDIDI-MIKEL-ETEBO-MOSES

IWOBI-IHEANACHO
endorsed. If we play this formation, even if Iceland wipe me 5 nil, I will not complain.

Some of us deserve to vent mbok. What I don't understand is those that are venting at everybody, like those ones that went to John Ogu's page to insult him, maka why? Did he play? Insult him for what?

I wonder why they are criticising him.
