Nasarawa PDP Endorses Makarfi For 2019 Presidency


The Peoples Democratic Party in Nasarawa state on Wednesday pledged to back 2019 presidential hopeful Ahmed Makarfi to pick the 2019 ticket of the party.

Hon. Francis Orogu, chairman of the party in the state, said this at the state’s party secretariat when Makarfi visited the party.

Orogu said the former governor of Kaduna state deserved their support based on the role he played in, according to him, making the party formidable.

He assured the former national leader of the party that the delegates would also mobilise for him.

Earlier, Makarfi said the visit was to consult with leaders of the party on his intention to contest for 2019 election.

He promised to generate employment to the youths, eradicate poverty and address the current security challenges among others in the country, if elected in the general election.

“I have made serious impact in all the offices I held in the past, as a Banker, Commissioner, Governor, Senator and Caretaker Chairman of our great party,” he declared.

“So, since I was able to stabilise PDP in its worse trying moments, I can equally selvage the country in this trying moment if elected as President.”

when PDP was having serious battle with Modu sheriff in court, It was markafi at the forefront of the battle line,

Atiku only came in after the battle has been won.

The PDP knows their comrades, Atiku should thank GOD if he comes out in third position

He's just not popular among the people. He's known for being a former PDP chairman but people don't know him well to vote for him.

Makarfi is still a learner. His state will not even vote for him let alone going close to the gate of Aso Rock.

I don't know him. Same will be said by many others.

Makarfi is well known only by you and members of your household, I guess.

I would prefer markafi as president as against Atiku. And markafi would win.

The people will decide who will be their president by 2019.

I have followed them but, don't buy into the narration of APGA being pro-buhari cos the streets in SE are deeply anti buhari. It will be suicidal for them to go against their people.
