Yes, i think i would go with the Redmi S2, considering the camera and the sd slot, i can compromise on the battery. Have been using a samsung phone with 2050mah battery and it uses an average of 7hours on continuous use. So i think i can cope with the 3080mah too.

Make sure you put the size into consideration. The Redmi S2 is marginally bigger than Redmi Note 4 and the screen resolution is just meh!
But I have to say, the camera will be better and the 3 slot for sim card and sd card.
Kindly check the redmi 5 with sd450 processor.

Also, if you ain't in a hurry, wait a little bit and check out some new models that will come out very soon before making the jump.

OK, why I ask is that from my tracking details, it entered Lagos 10:12am yesterday and was 'bagged' and billed to leave for its destination at 1:15pm same day. There are some ideas that shouldn't come up in your head and in this group. We are still trying to emancipate some Nigerians from using shitty phone. We still have some who are confused with the phone naming. Now, you want to introduce something that will destroy their confidence in Xiaomi. If it goes wrong now, SIM tray can get stuck, or the SIM tray does fix properly again, is it not to order parts or look for repairers?
And, I beg you, discuss this no further. The cons outweigh the pro. That's why we have Redmi Note 5a, Note 5a prime (Y1) and S2(Y2) with dedicated SD card slot.
