a third goal would have been good for our goal difference with 3 points
How I wish we drew the first game. Now we have to get at least a point from Argentina. And hope Iceland don't beat craotia with a wide margine

Man Of the Match in my opinion. It'll be hard for Rohr to bench him now
Man of match! Hmmm! I somehow agree because at one stage I no longer worry about those set pieces and long balls because the defense was so improved and solid with him. Wow!

Make Rohr no drop am Ooooo. grin

That’s a whole different argument.

Yes, Moses played very well. Lovely assist by the way. Musa’s first touch was top notch.

forgiveness:
Actually, Victor Moses was our best player today behind Ahmed Musa.

Kenneth omeruo is my man of the match.

The guy scored because of a mistake from the keeper. Is Ighalo also supposed to magically make the keeper make a mistake?
And when the icelandic defender headed backward against Ighalo, what did he do with the ball? Couldnt even turn. Meaning without support, he can't take on a defender or what?

Btw, it was the pressure the croatian striker gave the Argentine GK that disorganised him. He stayed with him forcing him to make that error.

Let Ighalo return back to this striking days and stop wasting the striking role for us.

Very, he did so well and worked well with Ndidi leaving Etebo to roam..
tbaba1234:
John Obi Mikel was so key today in the deeper role.

rohr is good hooooooooooooha. i never lost hope in this team. we have a tactician who is flexible unlike before when our ex coaches relied on hoofing the ball up and praying for miracle to happen. even if the team doesnt make it to the next round rohr should be retained. the set piece issue have been corrected, mikel was colossal in his preferred position, etebo and ndidi where massive, uzoho, i said it here few months ago that he will be rohr's biggest discovery and will benefit the team for many years to come and its already coming to past, ebuehi for sure is a steal from the dutch, omeruo's inclusion was never expected and he screened the defense line so well that i he cleared my doubts about his abilities. the strike partnership of musa and iheanacho worked wonders and should be retained for the future. for once i have never doubted rohr and is soldiers! soar high super eagles, the whole world should take notice cus 9ja footie is back

We just need Iwobi as AM, or at least bring him on earlier in the second half.

He was great second half. Ighalo showed some good hold up play today
You are right. Etebo improved in the second half when he was tasked to play behind the strikers.

I am not happy with Ighalo when he failed to pass on time after the hold up play.

Make Rohr warm am well ooooooo.

realpoacher:
I screamed with joy when we scored

But i am not impressed one bit

We posted a very shabby performance

This was a one man show... Musa!!

Other players were non existent... I bet my left balls that if Ighalo had started we won't had scored a single goal.

SMH!!

Just look at how he killed our 3rd goal

After we scored we became too sluggish for my liking

It was like we took our feet off the pedal

For Argentina match... I intend to see Iwobi starting in place of Etebo... Yes, Etebo should sit on the bench

Etebo killed many of out attacking moves... Iwobi will do better in his place

WTF!! Is the reason behind Rohr and late changes? undecided
. Not impressed one bit? Bros, watch the match again

Oga..if that was what Musa was going, we wouldn't have 2 goals as we speak. He's the striker not the holdup conductor. Hes been holding on and we have been without goals... Meaning its not working!

When he saw Musa scored 2, he quickly went to beg the coach to sub him in. Is he afraid bench is callin him?

He either shape up or bench down.

Doing nothing with it? So the pass he gave Iwobi was nothing ba? Continue

We still need Iwobi in the AM not mikel, its good mikel played deeper, allowing nacho to play as both striker n AM, hope this will work on our next game sha.

For tackles, he's superb! By the way, the Musa you never want in the Lineup just gives a Lead!
Is Iwobi a bad option?

How do we score with no shot.... Iceland looks like the team that would score.

@Oasis007... When I said ndidi is just a good tackler nothing more, I was criticised on this thread. Some were even saying he's better than Kante.

For me Etebo should come off for iwobi and nacho off for ighalo or simi.... More creativity in midfield and presence in attack.
Dont u ever dine with dis kinda men, dey ditch u when things seem bad and smile wt u when uv got little bucks to through around.

We wailed Mikel offered little as an AM, but both Ndidi and Etebo are offering nothing as CMs in this Match.

Yeah.... the Coach seems overrated by many of us. Almost retracted calling him white Onigbinde, obviously he's an average Coach.

When the Midfield ain't tickling, what do you expect from other Positions?! No penetration, no cohesion, harmless crosses and so on.
Not surprised, he already is well known here. grin
