Was so dissapointed when my period came this month. I cried. Hubby told me its too early to be worried but I still cried. I got married as a naive lady but I'm learning here. The worst part is my friends started calling me Iya Ibeji, thinking I've conceived already. I cried again. Please,

1. How can I calculate my ovulation period correctly? Is there a kit or an app that can help out?

2. What are the things I need to do in other to prepare myself for conception?

3. Are their fertility booster juice and womb cleansing FRUIT juice I can take? And food diets too. Please help. Thanks.

4. I love fish peppersoup so much and I notice after taking it during my menses, some thick clots were coming out with the blood. I was scared at first but I told my Dr and he said there is no cause for alarm. I'm scared cos my friend said it could be a sign that I have fibroid.

Welcome Rbae. We understand how you feel. The first thing you need to do is to relax and enjoy sex with your husband without worrying too much about not having babies for now. Babies will come with their own stress.

Now to answer your questions:

1. To try to guess your ovulation, understand and listen to your body. I feel nauseous whenever I'm about to ovulate. Look out for signs like the various stages of cervical mucus. The slippery one that looks like egg white is the fertile one.

Download Ovulation prediction Apps like Ovia and regularly fill in required data.

Ensure you have more sex during your fertile window.

2. To prepare yourself for conception:

Ensure that you and your husband do not have any infections. You can see a general doctor for that without mentioning that you are trying to conceive. If you do, they'll probably tell you to come back after a year.

I highly recommend Pregnacare Conception for him and her. It contains a month's supply of a blend of fertility vitamins for you and your husband. The reason is many of my friends have got pregnant while on it.

Have your husband go for semen analysis, urinalysis and mcs while you go for intracervical swab test, urinalysis, mcs. Ask your doctor for those.

Many people get pregnant simply after treating infections.

3. Try to eat healthy. A blend of Bitter leaf and scent leaves juice is good from period to the time before ovulation. Helps cleanse the blood.

A blend of tigernuts, dates, coconut (and ginger if you like) is good for both of you.

A blend of turmeric, ginger, garlic, with a cap of apple cider vinegar and honey is good for cleansing the system and fertility.

My friend tells me bitterkola is very good for men.

In fact just take lots of fresh fruits and raw vegetables, protein and less carbs

4. Your fish peppersoup is very good. Clots doesn't mean you have fibroids. Peppersoup and hot drinks help your period flow well. Just don't take peppersoup spices after your ovulation and during pregnancy.

5. Read up old posts, use the search button on this thread. Ask questions when necessary.

6. Pray with all your heart, might, and soul. Have faith in God, trust Him and obey His Word. Be patient till you see God fulfil His promises.

I just did a scan and HVS as directed by my doctor. Doctors in the house, from the result, is there any major issues? I've treated PID before but don't know why it reoccurs. Pls advice accordingly

May be you've not used the right medication. Pls see a good gynae asap for proper treatment. Don't delay.

Your HVs came back clear
Fluid in POD may or may not indicate infection according to my sonographer.
If you were ovulating when u scanned, there will be fluid there.
Maybe you should redo HVs or do ECS to be sure.

This was me last year. Diff is I used to itch after bd and all HVS and ECS shows nothing. Though only one sonographer out of 3 I met same day mentioned PID and explained diff with the one seen during ovulation. One said nothing at all, while the other said could be due to ovulation since scan was on CD12.
I met another doc who ran series of blood and urine work and said PID. Was started on antibiotics with dh and treated close to 5 months with confirmatory test 3 times within treatment. I've been free since then and nothing on scan nor urine/blood.

It's a mind thing. But you've got to convince yourself that their status can't affect you negatively but relating well with them will rather give you positive vibes. Rejoice with those that rejoice and in no time it shall be your turn.
They also have their own problems which you never know and they patch themselves up and keep struggling. You've got to do same. Never think because they have children they're satisfied. Some can't even feed their kids 3 times a day and they still try to hide those feelings. No one is better than another, but how one manages the situation is what makes the difference.
Remain strong and press on, God never abandons His own.

Yes, Serra is very good for scar tissue. I started with a table spoon of ACV in a glass of warm water on empty stomach daily. Later increased to 2tbsp to a glass and at some point took it just whenever I wanted to drink.
You may try morning and night. First in the morning and last at night starting with a tbsp as some people purge or have frequent urination at initial start. So with time you can adjust.
Castor oil massage has been discussed widely here. Buy a bottle of cold pressed castor oil from a pharmacy, buy cotton flannel (any cotton material that has not been previously bleached can serve), buy hot water bottle or heating pad. Then you're good to go.

Soak the flannel fully I the oil, squeeze a little to remove dripping oil, then place on lower part of your abdomen. Use nylon to cover the flannel and then place the hot water bottle over the nylon. Cover with towel and stay for 30 to 45mins for about 3 times a week. Same flannel with oil can be used as often as possible once it doesn't smell. So you can always store in a closed container after use.

BSM: Black Strap Molasses. Just be sure it's organic and unsulphured.
ACV must be organic too.

I received treatment from a woman and she confirmed that am preg.since last year Feb but since then I ve never miss my period for a month. Each time I went there she will assure me the baby is there and still growing.at a time I became worried and went for scan and they said there is nothing in my womb.yet the woman still insist and confirm. By August 2017 somebody directed me to one doc at owerri that uses one kind scan. The doc after the scan without me telling him my reason of Coming, confirm the pregnancy.but said the foetus is not growing as it is supposed but he will treat me. and even help the period to stop but until now my period is still on every month, my uterus is not protruding and navel is not out. The doc still insist that the baby is at the back but is OK. as of April 2018 he said the pregnancy.is 5month and blc of mens the month use to drop. For me am confused and tired and I don't know if anyone has experienced such. Am always feeling tired and hungry. Please I need help and advice plz

You're not pregnant!

Here's what they do:

They massage or press your tummy and tell you there's an imaginary pregnancy that no scan can detect except theirs.

Then they begin to collect sums of money to treat you so the baby will grow as it's not growing properly.

You'll end up being pregnant for many years while you run from pastor to prayer house looking for a solution.

Some of these fake doctors and midwives go as far as arranging a baby for you without your knowledge and making it look like you actually gave birth when you did not.

When you desire to get pregnant, your mind is so powerful that it can trick your body into thinking you're pregnant when you're not. It's called pseudocysis and is common with ttc women.

You may begin to feel imaginary movement in your tummy, so real that you may even see your tummy move or feel kicks. In my case it was just fibroids playing on my mind. It was so real that I was so sure that I was pregnant until I saw the fibroids myself.

Your breasts may be heavy or milky too while your menses ceases. In my case it was only high prolactin.

Sorry for the delay please, everyone.
So, my case was secondary infertility as I have a son. So, after a year of waiting to conceive every month when my son turned a year five months.
I decided to go seek medical help and also started researching about what might be wrong with us.
I went to FMC. the first test was hsg which came out fine, scan was also fine, no fibroid etc. then my husband went for sperm count and it was also OK. then I was sent to do hormonal profile and it came out that I wasn't ovulating I was surprised because I still have ovulation pain every month, though I noticed reduction in the amount of mucous I see during ovulation, unlike before.
I was placed on folic acid, and vitamin e( I have forgotten the unit) my husband was also placed on vitamin e. We took it for one month. Then was given clomid to start on day two of my period for five days and start follicular tracking on day10 (wrong advice ).
I went to Everight and booked my tracking on day1 since they said they can't do it at the FMC.
So, on the day10, I went for the first one, the guy after the tracking asked why I chose to start on day10 instead of day6 or day7 since some people have short cycle which I am among. He showed me two matured eggs that may pop within 12hours. I was lost, I asked him what I should do (because the ignorant doctor told me to come back on the fifth day of tracking and we shouldn't bd) ,he said my doctor should answer better. I asked for the result, he refused to print it because they don't release it till they are through. Rather, he gave me a note on what he observed.
I rushed to the hospital luckily it was my clinic day. I went to the consultant and explained everything and showed him the note. He said there is no need to continue with the tracking which I should have started earlier , they gave me 5000iu of hcg injection, he asked me to go home, start bd immediately and pray!
I went to the chapel pray and sowed seed with the amount of money it will take me to redo the tracking because I concluded with faith that it's over!
I missed my period, did home PT and got BFP. went for a scan and I saw two sacs!!!
I delivered my twin boys on 16th of July last year.
That God who saw me through and changed my name to mama Ejima , will do it for you reading my story!


I can never advice anybody to use govt hospital, unless there is financial issue because these tests are not cheap. Private is less stressful.
