Why will you all post somethings like this here especially where the embassy frequents often to see what you people are writing and shut their doors against genuine visitors or travelers. I love una spirit and attitude of not giving up, but you people should mind whatever been posted here, Its like encouraging armed robbers or sars to keep stealing and killing. No embassy will ever issue 99% Visa after seeing this your post - wanting to enter with a visitor but will abuse the terms of the VISA, To top it all, Getting a US B1 Visa is very tough now because of peepz with your mindset of Migrating to Canada with US B1.

The guy means no harm bro, what he meant was that you shouldn't even think of over-staying with a visit visa as that would automatically make you an illegal in the U.S. Though you would need more than 300k but your best bet is either the Canadian or Australian express entry/skilled workers program or better still, try the schooling route to a country that enables you to stay back after studies. Both are point-based assessment i.e. There are points you score for your age, academic qualification, work experience, test of English...

Here is a summary of AUSTRALIAN Skilled Migration process:

After you've calculated your points, you check whether your skills/occupation is listed among the ones needed, if it's there, you check the assessing body that will assess you, once you've gotten a positive feedback, then you proceed to write the tests of English that is required, PTE (Pearson Test in English) & or IELTS (International English Language Test System)

Lodge your Expression Of Interest, get an Invite after this you may apply for your sub-class visa, upload transcript... wait for your grant

You'll need to ask further questions on the official thread regarding the cost as I'm also a prospective PR.

I attended one of this Studyfair programs in Port Harcourt... One of the organizers told me that am too old to apply for B.Sc in a German school as am in my 30s.
He went further to say that i might be given admission but the embassy might refuse me visa.
