Don't be surprised that they might even play under 2.5 that day, because both teams will be playing with caution. Mind you that both team's have qualified smiley

Good!

Even if Leagues in Europe adopt VAR, English Premier League won't, for obvious reasons. cheesy

Italy and Germany league use it last season. England use it in their league cup. Champions league refuse VAR.

Fair game to you, everybody has the right to support who the want to support, irrespective of Religion, Country or race, it may not be very ethical or should I say justified, but your right is your right.

But I have mingled with some of these Americans and Europeans, the will never support Nigeria or any African country to win in anything even though the have nothing to lose or gain in the competition, the rather support their closest neighbour or boycott the whole competition.

It's mostly Black Africans that are quick to support Messi, C Ronald, Hazard against their respective countries, I won't say this is bad or inferiority complex, that's just the way the world is structured.

I was like you before, always supporting Foreigner super stars ahead of my people, but after my first hand experience with these folks, f%:%ck that shiit man

I may bad mouth Nigeria, may call it a zoo, but I will support any Nigerian athlete, footballer, artist ahead of any godamn foreigner, as far as they are in the same competition.

When you realise how less of a fucccck most Foreigners give about Africans, you may change your mindset

How many Africans watch African Champions League? Can you compare that to the number of people that watch UEFA Champions League? How many Africans watch African Nations Cup? Can you compare the number of Africans that watches EUROPEAN Cup? How many Africans watch African leagues? Can you compare that to Africans watching European leagues? There lies your answer...

Truth is, I rather watch Portugal play than watch Senegal or Kenya. African teams aren't impressive in competitions so why should I as African waste my time? Why should an European waste his time? If I weren't a Nigerian will I be concerned with Nigeria game?

Play well and you will attract fans! Simple

FIFA please don't increase world cup to 48 countries
I don't know who is the "genius " that thinks a 48 countries world cup is a good idea, the quality of matches will drop drastically.

You need to take comprehension very serious in your next life.

It is unpatriotic for me to wish HARM to Nigeria. It is unpatriotic of me to wish economic turmoil on the country. It is unpatriotic of me to wish Nigeria to be overrun by invading army or terrorists.

But it's not unpatriotic of me to prefer American government over Nigeria's led by Buhari. It isn't unpatriotic of me to decide to play for or Support Ghana football/sport team over Nigeria Super Eagles. It isn't unpatriotic of me to support Spanish Laliga over Nigeria's Football League.

You know why? This is because SPORTS is a game not warring.

I'm done with you Sir

Sports game or not, patriotism is not by any objective definition limited to war. It encompasses the range of one's emotions for one's country. It is clearly you with the comprehension problem since you cannot absorb the simple meaning conveyed in the screenshot i attached.

And really that is your business. Be unpatriotic if you want but don't hide behind malapropisms (such as claiming that patriotism is limited to warring).

SMH!

u really spot this on. i do tell my guys that European or American don't hate Africans or more like racism that we always emphasised on all the time. it just has to do with they will never believe nor trust any Africans in any area of life. its so bad that they see us as the lowest of ebb of all humans.

Can you all see how the Panamanian were jubilating after scoring just only a goal and alsol after England has scored 6 goals against them already and knowing fully well that it is a loss game for them. Nigerian this is a perfect example of patriotism. One of the best that I have ever seen in my whole life. Please learn
Most countries in the world would give an arm to be in our situation. Yeah, even great countries like China, Korea, USA, Canada etc. To qualify for the world cup is great on its own, to score a goal even greater. To pick up three points HUGE. Ask the Egyptians.

Our boys put up a valiant fight to give people back home some joy and at least give us a chance for progression. But what do we have here, some self hating morrrons praying we lose because they love some guy who genuinely doesn't give fucckkk about them.

Football is a thing that brings joy to a lot of people Uncle. We, football lovers love football because it brings joy to us not because of citizenship. I don't care about rugby or hockey because they don't give me any excitement.

Messi and Barcelona has never stopped from giving me joy unlike Super Eagles. N/B I stopped supporting SE passionately in 2002 after our woeful loss to Sweden in the world cup.

We supporters of Messi want Messi to advance and it is unfortunate that it will be against Nigeria this time.
Stop embarrassing yourself here sir,you have been mentioning Joy since,I didn't want to quote, what you feel when your team wins is not Joy at all. That's why it doesn't last, you were sad when your club was disgraced out of Uefa championship right? You see what I mean,Joy has no physical or material source, you just feel it,it embraced all inner being,it's always there, whether you are sick or healthy, broke or rich, win or lose.
A Barca/ Messi fan committed suicide in Argentina 2 days ago because Argentina lost,Barca has won lots of marches,so has Argentina, yet all the previous victory couldn't console him and take away his sorrow and sadness for losing that game against Nigeria, because he has been feeling happiness all this while whenever Messi wins, but when he lost, all the happiness disappear, leaving sorrow.
No man or sport can give you Joy, nothing you see can give you Joy,Joy is permanent, happiness is transient.
Joy is not a result of acquiring but a state of inner peace and contentment. Nobody can give you that only God.
