KillerBeauty:

I heard Uni Manitoba have a scholarship available for Msc program for international students if you have a very good undergraduate result. Pls how true is this?
It is true but the 'scholarship' I believe is the IGSES which reduces your tuition fee by half. Also, there is the University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship in which the school pays about $500 into your Canadian Bank Account every 2 weeks.

Good. I don't know if anyone hired from Nigeria so far. You can try Express entry and the provincial nominations. SINP seems to be on fire now. Else the quickest way to land here physically is as a student. There are a few colleges teaching business analysis but since you have cbap might as well do something different like business intelligence or data modeling. Those are the hottest roles right now.

All the best

you might want to google it up as cost varies across towns and province. Using the town I live as an example, a 1 bed apartment would cost at least $850/month. I deliberately excluded basement apartment cos of the children. Feeding, bills, upkeep for a family of three would not be less than $500 dollar a month. daycare around ($750-$1000 per child). You don't pay school fees once your child starts school though (above 5yrs old).
Good day
Has your wife applied?
Am in the same position with you
Appplied with 3 kids

Hello House, I am a funded student coming to University of Saskatchewan this Fall. However I don't have enough funds to get an accommodation immediately. I will be waiting for my first stipends by end of September to be able to get an apartment.
My problem now is where to stay for this one month, pending when I get my stipend. Please is there someone in Saskatoon that would be willing to accommodate me as room mate for a month, the I reimburse him with half of his rent at the end of the month?

I cannot give an answer to this because I know nothing close to nothing about Brandon University. But all the info you want to know will be on the University website. I will advise you check the available funding for the department you are applying to for Brandon Uni and you will get an idea what their awards and scholarship programs look like. It migjt be similar to the one I stated definitely but I doubt it will be the same.
