What an interesting game. Iran should be the best of the rest - the 17th best team in WC after the 16 that will go through.

Iran has been very impressive.

I noticed this from last WC when they drew Nigeria and Argentina managed a 1-0 over them.

They are a very, very stubborn team. Hardly score, but hardly concede more than 1.

If that 96th minute Iranian attempt had entered the net, Spain and Portugal would have ended with same points, goal difference, goals and the fair play (judged by yellow/red cards) would have decided who goes through.

U no do ur maths well bah

If Iran had scored, Spain and Iran would have qualified

Spain drew, Portugal drew.... If Iran had won they would have had 6points

Honestly, I don't care if Nigeria loses it tomorrow against Argentina as long as Messi gets a hat trick. Call me unpatriotic I don't care...it's not like we'll go further than the knockout stage by the way. angry
It's not like Argentina are even going to go far in this competition with their crappy team. Messi can't do it alone. So 9ja must win.
And am a big Messi fan .But Bleep Messi 2morrow.musa for the brace

CR7 really messed up by missing that penalty. What a game from both ends. 10mins from now Spain was on 4 points(2nd placed) & Portugaal topping with 7 points(winner) but like the flash of lightening both now share 5 points with Portugal meeting Uruguay for round of 16.
Its safe to say Portugal can't win Uruguay.
trust me that's Portugal for you. They make everyone uneasy but yet manage to scale through, perhaps lucky I might say. Thing is people expect Portugal to get beat every time they face a deadly opposition but somehow they result end being unexpectedly different. Uruguay Portugal will be a game to watch- two teams that both like to sit back

Exactly @ the emboldened.

And to be honest with you, though this might sound unpatriotic...if Nigeria would mess things up if they progress in the competition I'd rather wish Argentina beat us and qualifies to next round.

Just becos of beef btwn Ronaldo and messi u wud rather deny ur country Dats really serious.

Well I don't fvcking care about any of those 2 just let naija deal the fvck With Argentina. They always laff at us and mock us yet u wana support them. Real bad!
