So, Ighalo became the death of the team....he failed to redeem himself.

Unlucky once again

ykalhaji:
We needed to go home. This team would have lost their next game even if they qualified. The world cup is over for me now.
And this Argentine wont lose their next game?

Na wa.. Senegal next. One of the worse World Cup for Africa

Mujtahida:
Rohr finished us when he refused to make substitutions to at least ease off the build up of the argentine momentum

Painful exit.....dying minute goals are the worst

I feel bad for Uzoho most of all....but at least Ighalo still has his hold up play undecided

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 8:55pm On Jun 26, 2018
We had all the chances to score at least 2 goals after the first goal. All fell to ighalo but what did he do with them? Wasted them.

sometimes, even that is too much to ask.

I hate 'I-told-you-so's' so, as much as I can, I will refrain from coulda woulda shoulda.

I look forward to the analysis from the Ighalo fanboys though.

Anybody but Ighalo....it just had to be Ighalo

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Jarus(m): 8:56pm On Jun 26, 2018
Ighalo got opportunity to kill the game and he missed it. And we were punished.

Again, African teams and conceding decisive goals in last 10 minutes.

I have given up. Africa does not have the character to do well at global stage.

Since 1994. Still same in 2018.

So sad.
