I was just going through history and I found out that during the civil war that ended 48yrs ago, the people that Gen. Gowon used to prosecute the war were Christians from the Northern, Middle-belt and SouthWestern regions.

The then Eastern region was turned to a killing field, they were placed in concentration camps which is in today's time is called IDP Camps.

These states are:

Southwestern region:
1. Lagos and adjoint states

Middle-belt region:
1. Plateau
2. Benue
3. Taraba
4. Kogi
5. Southern Kaduna

NorthEastern region:
1. Borno
2. Adamawa
3. Yobe

And some other pockets of Christian ethnic groups in the North.

Unfortunately, they are now at the receiving ends of the fulani-herdsmen terrorists attacks.

Let the truth be told. Who can disputes God's declaration when He says " Vengeance is mine".

Igbos are great. They have the highest level of political consciousness in Nigeria today.There extensive travelling, engaging in commerce/trade, mixing/intermarring with other cultures in Nigeria/Africa/world wide have elevated their level of socio-political consciousness above Yorubas & others who are still stuck with "one Nigeria" nonsense. Biafra have its root in this elevated group consciousness that Nigeria's complexities are historical, foundational, structural with religious and ethnicity thrown into the mix. They understand the problems are systemic and not leadership per say unlike the Yorubas who see Nigeria problems from A to Z as leadership problem.
