Sorry for your LOSS though. I have an issue with this same guy. I was looking for a particular theme for a project last week and he offered to help but lo and behold, nothing till date...

I'm not new in this business and know where to download nulled themes but this project is dear so I reached out and he came with a story he bought many themes but imagine someone buying themes couldn't answer basic questions so I played along with him and sent him ₦500 and till now that I am typing, nothing from him nor a refund and I've moved on to almost completing the project now.

I would have been angry with you has you paid less than 30k but sad he's not responsible. If he can't tidy up your 30k dealt hen I better relax for my 500 naira theme.

To be fair on sweetjesus the 30k paid should set-up a website if the basics are what is sought for. He didn't go so low but the guy wasn't up to the challenge hence making many of us bad

If I am doing a business on Nairaland, I try not to screw up, so they don't google my name and see me related to a scam or the other.
As for the scammer, return the money unless you're screwed for just one-week feeding money
As for the OP, in case of next time, pay to a website developer who has a website to boast of and if possible, demand a company account. That is a website developer, serious of his business.
