Hi all,

Please I need some advice on how best to tackle this issue.

OINP is currently processing my application for nomination and so I got this ADR to provide more info on my proof of fund.

The assessment of the information and documentation submitted in support of your
application indicates that program criteria may not have been met. Specifically,
 Have the minimum necessary settlement amount applicable for you and your family
members, in one of the following forms or a combination of them:
o Funds that are transferable, available and unencumbered by debts or other
obligations, equal to the minimum necessary settlement amount or to the
portion of that amount not accounted for by annual income; or
o A job offer in Ontario with annual income equal to the minimum necessary
settlement amount or to the portion of that amount not accounted for through
other available funds.
• The information and documents received in support of your application
indicate that you do not possess the necessary funds to cover
settlement costs in Ontario for yourself and your dependant family
members.

• The minimum necessary settlement amount for a family of three is
$19,093 CAD: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp
• The Stanbic IBTC and GTBank statements included in your application
indicate total funds of just $1,821.2 CAD as converted on 11 June
2018.
• The Treasury Bills submitted with your application do not appear to be
available to you until their maturity date on 19 July 2018 and 30 August
2018 respectively.

You have 30 calendar days from the date of this letter to provide:
 A letter from your financial institutions to confirm that the funds are readily
convertible to cash, can be immediately liquidated and at what value, and that they
are free of debt or financial liability.
 Any additional information and/or documentation to demonstrate that your
application satisfies all program criteria

I have requested for the reference letter from the two banks but they both are dragging feet on issuing the letter in the format required by Ontario.

GTB issued an introduction letter instead and advised I request for a letter of non-indebtedness to back it up.

Still waiting on Stanbic...

My concern is will the above suffice?

Please my people, I need suggestions on how best to resolve this issue. @40manlappy, @Glitteringstar @elfmannisback @cochtrane @Newmum0615 et al

Good day house, I have a confusing question.

I started my M.sc Feb. 2016 and finished Feb. 2017, but on getting my transcript, I saw Dec 2015- Dec 2016. I asked why the date was so, i was told that's the school calender, that we were meant to start Dec, but started February because the set before us didn't finish their project on time. I'm so confused on the actual date to use because I've been using 2016- 2017.

Please where did you obtain your 1year MSc program?

Remember me, with LSRW as 8,8,8,6. I requested for EOR, I just checked my email after the Halleluyah Challenge and I saw an email from British Council. My writing has been upgraded to 7. Could you please take a few seconds out of your busy day to help me love on God! Thank you and God bless you as you do this.

Congrats dear. I claim this testimony for my own EOR.

A very annoying situation. Aren't they supposed to be more comfortable that the funds are out of your reach till after your application is approved? Since when has Tbills become a problem? With even a July and August 2018 end date sef. undecided

You may have two options. First, you may want to liquidate the Tbills and have the raw cash in your account. Not a desirable option as you will pay a steep penalty for pre-maturity liquidation. CBN does not make it easy. It's just to discourage incessant liquidation. Decide if you want to pay the price.
Secondly, the option which I would go for if I was to, is to take all the documents you are able to gather from your banks and write a nicely worded LOE explaining that the Tbills are expected to mature in about 2 months and that the processing time from when you get the nomination and when you finally get PPR till even landing is supposed to exceed August. Even a bingo is supposed to know that the Tbills will mature before that time naa. Try and work with your banks to give you something detailed that you can work with at least.
Which kain ADR is that one sef?
Let's know which one you decide and how it goes sha.

@codebrew85, in addition to what NewMum said , in your LOE you can even highlight the part in the Tbills certificate which says you can liquidate your investment before the maturity date, but your interest would be would be charged and explain that. Or just go with Option 1 and liquidate the Tbills.

It's actually a professional(if I may use that word) M.sc at IPS Uniport. A little bit expensive though.

Ontario no send, many folks are waiting for her to drop out of the race. Their money na 1500CAD..they take more than 90 days while others can take a month. Although their HCP is cool compared with others' u must have a relative or job offer before being eligible.

I think they don't care about the maturity in the future but in future and no debt of course. So liquidation or sourcing funds elsewhere is the way I see it. But if they would refund her if she couldn't meet up, may be...

An assessing body would go with the date on your transcript. You may have to revert to using Dec 2015- Dec 2016 now on. Have you done your ECA? If you have created your EE profile, edit please.
