Cristiano Ronaldo refused is highly disciplined, he is health conscious and refused to get a tatoo so he can keep donating blood, save lives and reactivate his hemopoietic system to remain healthy.

For those who don't know, Medical Scientists frown at tattoos and you cannot donate blood in any proper medical laboratory if you have one.

Messi na dirty boy grin

I'm now a fan of CR7. Personally tattoos irritate me especially on ladies.

He won't even do it ever. he's already talked about it...he won't draw anyone because he donates blood to charity always.

Everybody is saying CR7 like he's stainless. His own is worse: the guy does plastic surgery on his face and body. How is it any different from tattoos?

The thing is, these guys are viewed by millions around the world. There is a human setting called average: for a man it's 5'8, medium build, clean shaven, short haired and non tattooed. Nobody wants to look average because they will get easily forgotten.

Tattoos are part of the many customizations soccer players do to build an image for themselves. CR7 does cosmetic surgery to keep that stupid grin on his face and liposuction to look like a model in addition to many ab crunches he does daily. He also styles his hair one way to look different from others.

Okay, other customizations one can do:
Beard styles.
Boot colour [some players can choose to wear a completely different boot colour from their team every game]
Goggles [remember Edgar Davis?]
Body type [there's an English player whose built like a bouncer. I can't remember his name]
Accessories [My favourite: studs, ear rings, ear lobe stretching, wrist bands]

The list goes on.

Edgar Davids wore goggles because they were prescribed after he did an eye surgery to treat his glaucoma.

Where is your evidence that Ronaldo does plastic surgery?

I am waiting.

Google will enlighten you. Daily Mail always comes out with a list of cosmetic surgeries he undergoes. He has worked on his face multiple times.

Nairaland also pushes unconfirmed news to the front page. That doesn't make it true.

Cristiano did not have plastic surgery. It hasn't been confirmed yet.

Nigerians,we have to learn to respect privacy, someone says s/he likes tattoo how is that your business,is it your body, personally I like some tattoos, doesn't mean I would get one,the problem I have is that it is "permanent" and the removal is usually painful and risky, but I still like some tattoos like the one amber rose,Lionel messi, zlatan ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo have.
Those of you saying Ronaldo is a saint, doesn't he wear earnings, doesn't he have children from diffent women out of wedlock "baby mama" if you like,I am not saying those stuff are bad,but judging someone is wrong, everybody can not like the same thing, that is why we are different, if you hate what others like that doesn't make it bad, because there are things you love that others hate as well

Ronaldo desn't wear tattoo

He is such a discipline player

no wonder God is blessing him this way

I respect that guy so much!

Tattoos have nothing to do with God's blessings please. Love to God & to your fellow man (among others) does!

I wonder why people cannot just mind their businesses and keep their opinions to themselves.

Of all the problems in this Nigeria, it is what millionaire footballers do with their bodies that seem to be their problems.

You are proving my point.

The sun, daily mail are tabloids. Often known for sensational, fake, poorly researched news.

The Guardian UK, is an example of a real newspaper.

Nigerians... Judgemental lot. You oafs should not concentrate on what is wrong with our country. You are worried about tattoos.

You will tell me when tatoo became a basis to look down on people. Someone called them dirty... That person is a dolt. all of u that commented above me should face your issues squarely.... Always judging. Opinionated nonentities!
