As much as it's cool to be private, when in dire need, you really shouldn't care whose ox is gored. When you put up your details, it would reach a larger amount of people. Desperate measures for desperate times.

Goodmorning Nairaland, I have been a guest on this forum for sometime now but I decided to register today because I need everyone to come to my aid.

I graduated in 2016 from one of the Federal Universities in the country and I have completed the mandatory National Service last year December. Since that time till now, I have been jobless. I have submitted countless CVs, both hard copies physically and soft copies online, still nothing.

My life is worthless now. I wake up everyday depressed. I stay with my Step mum and her husband (my dad is late). She makes sure I'm reminded daily of how diminutive my self worth is. My life is hell here.

I'm not lazy or anything, no, far from it. I trained myself through the University. I was in 10 0 level when my dad died, and from then, I've had to fend for myself. I would leave school for days, hustling while my mates studied in school, As a result, I would have bulky notes and assignments waiting for me when I got back, all this didn't stop me from graduating with a good result.
So no I'm not lazy at all. Just last week, I went to a building construction site to do manual labour so I can have cash on me, still nothing, it was filled, everywhere is filled. Life has lost taste for me.

Just yesterday I wrote on my dairy, "...things can't continue this way for another 14 days" why I wrote it I do not know, I'm being led by my depressed subconscious. Just last night, I found myself typing on google, "painless substances that could kill" I'm losing it gradually, this is my desperate attempt to salvage this very unpleasant situation.

Please help, I really really need a job, any job at all, even if you won't pay me, just tfare to and from my house will do. I'm in Lagos. For anonymity purposes, I have left out certain info. But I'll give you any info you want privately.

It's funny that you are able to do a Google search for how to kill yourself but not how get a job.My advice for you is to first ensure.your resume demonstrates value.Trust me no one will recruit someone that has no value.No company will pay you to do nothing.Secondly do a Google search for available jobs and sign up for daily email alerts.Good luck.

Better be humble and submit your experiences for people to see and know how to help

I'll respond one last time. My advise to you, forget your being shy, the job market in Nigeria is a jungle that only the fortunate survive:

1. state your course of study and grade
2. state your current age
3. state location (state of residence)
4. Provide your email address and phone number
5. Open a new thread, because this one doesn't give the right impression about your needs nor does it sell you as a candidate with the right attitude
