Despite the fact that entering an office in the morning without saying Hi, what’s up or good morning makes her look very rude, they shouldn’t have sacked her becoz of that. Maybe she wasn’t performing too.

Was there in saying good morning, it won't remove anything from her.

Um.. A co-worker is a co worker in an work environment and not a casual friend that you can just spark on.( Literally it's like kill or be killed in d jungle)

The work environment should be respected. Do not over familiarize your self personally with your co workers thus it will save you from any deep hurt/pain!

To your question, you may familiar your self with a coworker only , if you have studied him/her and you sure they are sincerely being friendly and open minded to You, then you can let your guard down but I still suggest ya all should try hard to keep dt familiarity outside the office environment.....

To be sincere familiarity in the office environment decreases productivity efficiency and may cause you ur Job..

It is bad manners and lack of good upbringing not to greet people around you, be it in the office or residence. That you greet someone doesn't mean you like or approve of that person. By greeting people, you are only creating a conducive environment for yourself to function and to communicate.
