Ovamboland:Unlike you I know why exactly the country is in this state and I will tell you for free....Nigeria is in this state because in 1983 a self serving indisciplined military officer named Buhari led Putchist to needlessly over throw a legitimately elected democratic govt and started implement bizarre policies that would forever change Nigeria and Nigerians negatively |

OfficialAPCNig:You're not smart enough to know most of the poorer African countries also have only agricultural products to sell |

OfficialAPCNig:This is the thinking Americans held unto until they lost 87,000 industries between 1990 - 2017. If Nigerians stop manufacturing cars, where will those sacked going to work.? Do you know that there is a limit each sector of the economy can employ.? What happens to staff of other sectors we allowed to die because we wanted cheaper goods.? What if we don't have products that we can sell cheaper to Kenyans.? Have you factored all these facts above.? That is why I am disciple of Fair Trade which is a Trade that balances Protectionism and Free Trade. |

SalamRushdie:You must have some personal grudge to grind with Buhari. Maybe he killed a family member or a lover. Buhari did not lead my putch, the couple was lead by IBB, Idiagbon, Abacha and Bako. He was invited to lead the government by those who executed the coup. Here is the opening paragraph of the acceptance speech of Buhari. In pursuance of the primary objective of saving our great nation from total collapse, I, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari of the Nigerian army have, after due consultation amongst the services of the armed forces, been formally invested with the authority of the Head of the Federal Military Government and the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is with humility and a deep sense of responsibility that I accept this challenge and call to national duty. You can clearly see from his acceptance speech that we was invited to lead the government. Now how come your anger is directed principally at Buhari instead of the other top officers who planned and executed the coup. Tell me which bizarre policies Buhari implemented in just over 18months as head of state that could not be unimplemented in over 35 years. Even countries that is devastated by war are known to recover after 20 years. |

Timewilltell3:U are not intelligent.. SA has far better manufacturing industry than ours.. And if u want to use our large population as an excuse, please, remember that China, Russia, USA, and even India, all have larger population than us. They all have better manufacturing industry than us. Bro, population is not an excuse, if population is our problem, people like u should have joined hands and glamour for break up of the country. So that we can be smaller and be like other countries that are doing well. Or do u want us to keep going backward all because of our population? Or are u trying to tell me that we just have to keep going backward because our population is huge and there is nothing we can do about it? SA that has less than 60 million people have over 50 thousnandMW of electricity while we with population of over 160 million has less than 5000MW of electricity. People like u are the reason this country is useless because to u, everyone talks from the point of political affiliation. I never made my comment because i love or hate Buhari or i love or hate GEJ. Politicians in Nigeria have failed....all of them. |

Princedapace:You are the unintelligent one here . SA is a tiny good for nothing country and you are comparing them to the biggest economy in the continent? . Go back to school. |
| Re: Nigeria Abstains, As 49 AU Members Sign Free Trade Pact by Princedapace(m): 10:33am On Jul 05, 2018 |
Timewilltell3:U are the biggest economy because of your population, it has nothing to do with development. Im sure u are saying this stupidly... Bro, where SA dey, nigeria no fit reach there in the next 40 years. SA has working structure. Nigeria has none. If u want, I can educate u with index and not hear say. The SA tourism sector alone is a world class industry. SA education sector compete with some of the best in the world.. Their power sector is extremely well.. ur largest economy has less than 5000MW of electricity for her entire population and u are comparing it with a country with over 50kMW of electricity. Bros, SA manufacturing industry is doing very fine. They have serious influence even in our economy. Hope u know that. |

Princedapace:You must be a briafran fool. SA only has two developed cities, do you know how many developed places we have here ? I'm not talking your stupid village . Nigeria is by far more developed. What working structure, with so much crime and aids ? . You are the one who needs education here not me. Tourism, who cares about that? You think we don't have attractions here?. So you are one of the fools who believe these lies told by these xenophobia people that they have schools better than naija? . Can their graduates stand those from unilag, uni ibadan etc ? Don't be a fool. SA has more post cuts than Nigeria, I've being to SA and you have not. This nonsense 50kmw is fiction from those lazy fools. You are a goat for saying the last part. |

EternalTruths:The 87,000 industries were weak to compete. The stronger industries and economic expansion free trade will lead to will cause those displaced to be reabsorbed. USA have their lowest unemployment rate. There is no limit each sector can employ, economic expansion will ensure that. #WealthofNations There is nothing like fair trade, Free Trade is fair trade. |
| Re: Nigeria Abstains, As 49 AU Members Sign Free Trade Pact by OfficialAPCNig: 11:03am On Jul 05, 2018 |
Ovamboland:So? So we shouldn't compete? This is the main reason we should join that common market, because should their products enter that market, ours will never stand a fighting chance. They will have unrestrain access to the 49 countries with an over 1 billion market size, ~765 Trillion Naira worth of annual trade and boasts of the top 10 countries in consumer class growth. So you see, you are the dumb one. Shallow Economist. |
| Re: Nigeria Abstains, As 49 AU Members Sign Free Trade Pact by OfficialAPCNig: 11:10am On Jul 05, 2018 |
wirinet:If you are sensible, you would have known majority of Americans condemned that move. This is the more reason we need to access that large market. If restrictions are removed, the likes of Innoson and our plethora of manufacturers would increase their production capacity to meet the demands of Africa. The free trade, factor equalisation and free movement will ensure that Nigerian made products are cheaper than imported ones. Do you think Procter and Gamble would have shut down their 300 Million USD worth of investment if they had access to that 1.2 billion market? They won't. |

Nigeria Next President Must Agree To Reform The Government Politics in Nigeria is in total turmoil, officials are being teargased in broad daylight, herdmens are still killing our siblings in the east, and president buhari despite his best has failed in his quest to reduce corruption and terrorism because he's yet to come up with a solution to Nigeria problems. Blame games don't cut it anymore, it's time to Reform the government. Reforming The government would require them to serve voters, not corporate or special interests. I.e (president Trump might be controversial but he's delivering on his promises to his voters and the Americans love him for it) Public Citizen will also work to empower ordinary citizens, reduce the influence of big corporations on government, open the government to public scrutiny, and hold public officials accountable for their misdeeds. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/03/reforming-government-first-requires-understanding-it/521004/ The objectives of the reform should be: 1. Establishing a Government System with More Effective Political Leadership 2. Restructuring of National Administrative Organs 3. A More Transparent Administration which would be a major win for the current government policy 4. Streamlining of the Government. There will be no more regional killings (christians and Muslims will know their rights) Donald Trump recently Discuss Christian Killings With President Buhari https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=XH6VwjX617g Am sure you will agree with me that the Nigeria government is just like a bloated android device, trust me there are some Federal agencies out there that should be merged which will help save budget, and we will be able to secure our borders and harmonize our identity as a nation, no nation on planet earth survives without a proper citizen data which is a shame cause we don't have one in Nigeria. Our government will be able to serve the Nigerian populance way better in this 21st century than it's current state afterall the US has a Congressional oversight program that review, monitor and supervise federal agencies, programs, activities, and policy implementation and it has been in existence since 1816 and moreover president Trump has agreed to Reform United States government for the 21st century https://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/management/government-reform/ Nigeria will be 68 be years in a couple of months and this will show that as a nation we are progressing and moving forward. President Buhari should think of this as a birthday gift to us. Am trying to get this message across to everyone of us who believe in the brilliant future of this great country called Nigeria. Give us "Hope" in this country, we all deserve it sign the petition https://www.change.org/p/muhammed-buhari-nigeria-next-president-must-agree-to-a-total-reform-of-the-government |
