i'm not trying to counter ur explanation, but after the visa is stamped on the passport, there's an expiry date on the stamped visa; what that date means is u have to enter uae before that date and then ur 3 months starts counting immediately u enter uae.
both of you are still saying the same thing. I think that's the correct analysis tho. No need for confusions again.
Cheers

Thanks for this. I've read through most of the pages and not seen to much on employment/residence visa. Is this also applicable? The biometrics, medicals and all that?
justi4jesu:
Okay let me tackle this issue that is confusing all of you and for those giving out wrong information here.

Once your E-Visa is out and your agent sends it to you, then you have 45 days to visit the Abuja embassy for bio metrics/Payment and sticker, after that they give you appointment date for visa stamping/collection.

Because if you don't go to the embassy early, the visa might expire in your hands within those 45 days pending when you get an appointment at the Embassy.

After your visa sticker has been stamped on your passport, you have roughly 50-60 days validity to enter the U.A.E.

But I always advise travelers to leave within 1 month of receiving his/her visas from Abuja embassy.

Hope this helps.

Hello NLanders. I have been an avid reader of articles here for years but never got an ID or commented. I must say whenever I do a research on the internet on certain topics I have found myself falling back to naira land for additional information.

Would appreciate meaningful pointers on how to get a professional job in Dubai. I am a professional with varied years of expertise. I am a Nigerian however I reside in one of the western nations. Lest you wonder why someone in a western nation would eye a job in dubai, the reason is not far fetched. Would love to explore other options, been to dubai a couple of times but those times I had not made up my mind to live or work there but hearing about the monthly incomes (oil money lol), car allowances, tax free etc as a nigerian is more enticing than what one currently makes here after tax deductions. Dont get me wrong I earn quite a sum in my current location but hearing of the high demand of expats, its worth exploring for a short while.

I already tried to pm some old "emiratis" here so please if you were one of them and have credible info do share as much as possible.

TIA

Let me say this to clarify some issues regarding employment visa applicants on going to Abuja for biometrics and medicals.

The standard procedure for employment visa holders now is to go to UAE embassy in Abuja for Biometrics and medicals. However, UAE laws and procedures is not just static they are different according to the various sectors the company issuing the employment visa belongs.

Employment visas can be issued by individuals (for maids, helpers etc who must have fulfilled some eligibility criteria with the govt.), Private companies 'LLC', some Establishment 'Est' (majorly FMCG, groceries et al), Free zone companies ( government being part of shareholders, or wholly owned by govt.)

All these above mentioned entities belong to different sectors and have different quotas and procedures of operation outlined by UAE government. Hence I cannot talk explicitly or say a standard straightforward procedure about their employment visas issued.

Apt! it is advised one should take proper guidance from his/her agents or companies who issued any employment visa prior to coming to UAE.

The bolded Part is very very wrong.

The FREEZONE Companies are 100% owned by individuals (either Foreign or Local) Government has no business in FZE unless an extension of a Government Arm/Establishment.

And i can also confirm 100% that not all Employment Visas are to be taken to Abuja for processing. Kindly confirm from your Agent or Public Relations Officer.

In the case of 90 Days VISIT VISA as attached, its still based on SPECULATIONS about the 45 Days validity before Biometrics (Some agents/sponsors tend to cancel ones visa depending on the agreement or any dispute but i personally have seen someone done biometrics on the 50th day, PS: not all fingers are equal.). but it's better to go for it once you get your Visa Approval Page no need to wait.

Then u have 60 days (as shown in the attached) from the date of biometric to enter UAE don't wait for the 60th day to travel cos u might end up getting to UAE on the 61st day. and be turned back even if they had allowed u board the flight from Nigeria.

Yes! thanks for correcting that. You are right, free zone companies are private companies without government share or sponsor by any local/UAE national. Government companies are separate entity entirely.

We aint actually here to negate anyone, here is an information and discussion platform, so getting the right info is key so as not to mislead others. The main point is that employment visas holders should seek proper guidance from their agencies or company who issued the employment visa for further actions as not all employment go through Abuja processing.

Hey guys, I was at the dubai embassy today. The guy at one of the counters said the POS doesn't work with GTBank card that I should make a transfer to their UBA account. My question is: Can I make the transfer using my phone (because life is too short to stand in a bank queue) or do I have to go to the bank to make the transfer?

I hope my question isn't silly. I am just a rookie trying not to make mistakes. Thanks.

I was just reading the previous posts about visiting the embassy before 45 days. I was aware of this cry, my company notified me to do this since May 2018. I recently just started the process and will be doing biometrics tomorrow. From the image below, am I screwed? If yes, what should I do next?
