So it's not the church duty to provide these things but the church collects from the society in the form of offering and tithes abi , the worst thing is churches and religious institutions are not taxed yet they collect hugely from the society with no apparent service they provide. If you care about the advancement of this country you won't be talking like this.

The churches don't force people to give tithes and offerings. We that do it, do it out of conviction from the Word of God and we owe nobody any explanation. If you don't do it that's your conviction but why are you taking pain killer for a headache that you think we are having? Leave us to give our money to the church, it is not your business. God doesn't live in physical buildings;he lives in our hearts.

this sort of thing can only happen in a society where the government has failed. nigeria's population is growing rapidly and we are busy giving out lands to people to build churches instead of us to give these lands to private investors who are ready to invest hugely in the economy and create jobs.

I agree with your assertion..However Pastor Paul is a business man whose fundamental objective is making money through his Dunamis empire. He's not obligated in creating jobs for the 100k capacity members.

That's why our pastors are making sure they plant church branches instead of schools in every streets in Nigeria. Nigeria did not fail because they prayed and fasted.. America was more religious than any christian nation in the world during their early years of development such that everything about them had God in it including their constitution and their currency notes plus they became bonded with isreal. Saudi Arabia is more religious than Nigeria.
Nigeria failed along with the rest of Africa because of Bad leadership, poor governance, greed for money and power, lack of vision and direction, lack of education, intellegence and enlightenment among their people and above all poverty mentality, laziness and diabolic evil practices..

You made a valid point but remember, one have to hear and accept the word for it to manifest and bring out the inner good in a person's heart.
Going to church or listening to sermons all the time does not make one a good person. There are atheists who have a more caring heart than some fake pastors and imam so I think individuals should be held accountable for their acts not the Church.
