Hey guys i have a little issue. I plan to use an agent to procure my study visa to canada and the agents said they won't write my study plan for me that I would do it myself.

From what i observed writing a study plan is the main thing that will make the VO grant one visa. My question is, if that can't help me write that so why am I paying them. I want to know if it's just that agency or it's like that everywhere. Did anyone here pay so much money and you still wrote your study plan yourself? Need response asap guys!

I used online bank statement when I applied without bank stamp that is because I submitted my application online

I applied at the beginning of May but i did not get any response not even biometrics till ending of May, but i was asked to bring another recent statement of account which eventually happened at the beginning of June so after like a week or so i got my biometrics request which i did on the 14th of June but till now I've not gotten request for medicals or anything and time is going, just a bit worried. Or maybe it could 'be that they are dealing with a lot of applications .

Bro, study plan or statement of purpose is where the problem is. Writing it in a way that will convince the VO is not easy. Check most of the rejections on this thread. So i am thinking maybe using an agent might help

Hi everyone, I am here in Malaysia with student visa, i did my degree here and also doing my masters right now,i want to apply for student visa in Canada but people are saying that i have to go back to my home country because i have no tie here. that i should apply from Nigeria showing my husband company certificate and funds to sponsor me. Also i will like to know if i can go and apply from Nigeria and come back to Malaysia after submission and it is a good idea to do my biometric here in Malaysia and also medical here or i have to do all in nigeria because i apply there? Pls your advice will go a long way. thanks

Since you still have a study visa in Malaysia you can apply there, infact the process should be much more easier for you. Go to cic page and check the processing time for Malaysia applicants. The only time you can't apply from another country is if you are on visiting visa.
NB: That doesn't stop you from still using your husband's company papers, but trust me I think you have a better chance applying in Malaysia. Best of luck

Thanks for your reply, just checked the processing time and its 6weeks.hope using my husband tie back in Nigeria (properties, company certificate, and his Nigeria statement of account with my own Malaysia TOKEN statement of account won't affect my application? my own account is not that huge. thanks

Good evening all....
I got my gcm's note, been able to put my doc together but then, I haven't paid my fees, and payment is due August...... Considering the processing time, is it advisable to go ahead and pay the fees before putting up the application?

Note: if I don't pay by 1st week of August, I ll loose the admission. If I pay and don't get approved I'll loose my money.

For my chosen course, there's no January session till fall session next year.

Hi. What session are you applying for? It's most likely the Fall (September 2018) application deadline for Admissions at TRU may be closed. Check and confirm if your application is for Jan 2019 session start. TRU normally issue initial admission letter to an applicant with a detailed breakdown of requirements for tuition payment/deposit for at least the 1st semester based on course of study. The final acceptance letter will subsequently be issued by TRU to the applicant, after receipt of the earlier advised required tuition deposit.

Please can anyone advice me on what to do regarding my nysc certificate. I finished serving in 2015 but had issues regarding my certificate and it was transferred to abuja. when I got there mid last year I was asked to come back because the person discharging certificates wasn't on sit. This was very frustrating because I had to travel all the way from lagos. but I need to submit my visa application and I don't know if it's compulsory to add a discharge certificate. p.s I have my certificate number and all other relevant document but just not the discharge certificate. KINDLY ADVICE
