That's why we need restructuring to start with

A situation where 3 major tribes and other smaller groups are fighting for national cake can never bring any progress.

Development in Nigeria will only be possible when government at state level can initiate and implement a policy without waiting for Abuja.

The NHIS can work comfortably in Abuja or Lagos or Akwa Ibom, but to say you must cover the entire country at the same time, Fulani, Yoruba, Igbo and others depending on the who heads, decides that it is their turn to "chop money" and the entire program would be crippled

Sorry to say but this country needs a war to reset it. All the ingredients that makes a war can already be found in Nigeria.

Lack of maintenance is more a symptom of paucity of capable individuals in the liberal democratic nation than it is government fault. In a socialist or communist state, government is entirely responsible for maintenance of the infrastructure. Dirty and broken toilets at all Nigerian airport is opportunity for the entrepreneur to fight for contract . Part of the reason war in Africa is boon to the West is because war leaves behind lots of broken things for the companies of Western entrepreneurs to fix.

Liberal democracy is not for Nigerians if Nigerians expect government to fix everything.
